I am a fan of authentic South Indian food and after spending some good time in southern part of our country i always look out for similar taste.

With not much hope visited this place for a casual lunch which turned out to be a lip smacking experience.

Ordered:
Paper masala dosa, Masala dosa, Masala Chajj and
Dahi wada.

Though they took ages to serve the food even though it wasn’t much occupied but the food they served made me forgot everything. It was a very welcome surprise.

They served the Dahi wada first and it was as perfect as it could get. The green chilly and tomato on the top was like a teaser for the taste buds.

The masala chajj/ Lassi as we call it here was Hot ( spicy ) but that’s how i like it to be !

They serve their dosas with 3 different chutneys/ sauce:
Coconut, red and green. I generally don’t try anything other than coconut chutney but their taste was different and i ended up asking for round two of green and the red ones ;)

They did surprised me and will be my regular place to visit for sure.

Highly recommended for their south Indian food.

This place is just awesome. I ordered a Mysore Onion Rawa Masala Dosa and it was divine 😇😇😇. The food came quickly and it was delicious. Afterwards I ordered a single Dahi Vada and it was great too. Very very good experience. I'll go once every month now.

A quiet place to relish freshly prepared South indian meal. Their North indian meal was equally delectable. Their gadbad sundae , idli chaat and gulab jamun sizzler are a must try.

Good place for Dine in. Nice staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Food is slightly expensive but worth for the money. We took Sagar Ratna Special Thali. We ordered two. But one is sufficient for a couple. overall a good quiet place. The Air conditioner should be little more efficient. The temperature inside was not in comfortable level.

Decent place. Had a good leisurely breakfast of Masala Dosa and filter cofee. Ambience is great.

We have been visiting sagar ratna since decades especially there first outlet in defence colony. We got a taste of South Indian food thanks to this chain of restaurants. This particular one in GK2 is walking distance from our home and frequently visit for both North & South Indian food alike. We've liked the food, prices and hospitality every time we've visited. 👌

The one thing I absolutely love about every Sagar Ratna outlet I go to is the consistent simplicity along with quality.
The service is prompt, friendly and just adequate. Food has a very wide range of options though south Indian options are the ones to try.
Nothing too fancy, just fine south Indian dining at a family friendly restaurant.
