Sidh Sri Baba Balak Nath Shahtalai Temple

It is believed that Baba Balak Nath was an incarnation of Lord Kartikeya, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, who was born in Satyuga to destroy the demon Tarakasura.
A pundit came to his earthly abode in Junagadh, Gujarat's Kathiawar as the son of Vishnu and Lakshmi. Siddha Baba Balak Nath is a Hindu deity place. This place is known as Diyotsiddha.
This place is situated at a distance of 45 kilometers from Hamirpur in the area called Diyotsiddh of Chakmoh village on the border of Hamirpur and Bilaspur district. The sacred statue of Baba Ji is installed in a natural cave on the hills of Dhaulagiri Parbat.
This holy place can be easily visited any time during the year. Sunday is considered as Baba Ji's auspicious day, so it is generally very crowded on weekends and especially on Sundays. Every year, from 14th March to 13th April, fairs of Chaitra month are held here. During this a large number of devotees come here.

Devotional place and historical temple.It is situated 45 KMs. away from “Hamirpur” on the border of Hamirpur and Bilaspur districts of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Baba Balak Nath Temple is situated at the village of “Chakmoh” in the district Hamirpur on hilltop, in a natural cave. An Idol of Baba is placed in the cave.

That one is the 2ndplace i visit everytimewhenever i go to himachal.. after taking darshan of baba balak nath ji temple i visit here.. this place is one of my favourite place. This temple is where baba ji doing thier sadhna in from of bonfire and here is the placewjere they show a frour chapati and lassi to maa ratno. Must visit ifyou go there . Amazing place .

The main temple of Sidh Baba Balak Nath is south of Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh in Deotyotsidh Forest. The temple is situated on Dholgiri hill and is just 4 km from base cityShahtalai. His temple is very big and women are not allowed to enter the main garbhagrih which is the cave and Idol of Baba Balak nath jee has been placed and believe that Baba Balak nath did his spiritual practice for many year in the cave There is a different way to seek blessings from the same idol by women but at a distance. Many people with their desires come to this temple. Baba Balak Nath is the son of lord Shiva.

Recently visited to Diyotsidh Baba Balak Nath Temple to seek blessings of Baba Ji.Everywhere we found the negative effect of Corona. Not many devotees are visiting these days. The shops were open but no customers. We were really feeling bad for shopkeepers, hotel owners and everyone there. I prayed Baba Ji to finish this black period at the earliest and keep showering his blessings to everyone.

Temple situated at himachal pradesh , 70 km from UNA district. Crowd is too much and way is narrow. Best time to visit between september to november.

Very calm and peaceful temples. Visit deothsidh temple , 4km away from ShahTalai.
