Shri Mahakaleshwar Mandir

A day before I got the opportunity to visit ujjain, Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga.
Not only arrangements in the temple are far superior than other Jyotirlinga but also corridor made by Govt is a sight
I personally felt overwhelmed by the corridor and feel one should definitely visit this in the evening.
Feeling was like visiting a foreign site,
So big beautiful Mahakal Lok they have made. I was completely impressed.

Today, I visited Mahakal Lok Ujjain in November 2023. Mahakal Lok is also known and addressed as Mahakal Lok Corridor.

Mahakal Lok Ujjain is a place that I would recommend to anyone who is interested in spiritual art and Lord Shiv It is a place that showcases the glory and grace of Lord Shiva, and the ancient heritage and culture of Ujjain.

Mahakal Lok Ujjain is a devotional corridor that connects the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple with the Rudra Sagar lake. It is a must-visit place for anyone who wants to experience the rich culture and history of Ujjain, as well as the divine blessings of Lord Shiva. The corridor is 920 metres long and has 200 statues, 108 pillars, and two grand gates. It also has murals and stories from the Shiva Purana, depicting the various forms and legends of Lord Shiva.

The corridor was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2023, and it is expected to attract millions of pilgrims and tourists every year.

Please go there. Very very beautiful. Go during night or late evening. Very beautifully made. All stories of Lord Shiva. Children will know about our purana. Don't miss the virtual reality Bhasma Aarti.

Lot to explore, lot to experience and lot to enjoy.
The best part, NO ENTRY TICKET.
There are a lot of statues, stories engraved on walls and VR for Mahakaleshwar Darshan.
The overall experience is amazing.

Mahakal Lok Corridor in Ujjain is an excellent example of the rich cultural heritage of India. Its stunning architecture, intricate artwork, and spiritual significance make it a must-visit for anyone who is interested in exploring the cultural side of India. and I would recommend to visit the place at night because of lighting about 6 o clock. And ensure that the place will be closed at 9:30 pm. I loved it

A worth visiting place! Very big and well build place with various sculptures related to Lord Shiv. Here you can see Bhasma Aarti ( VR) and light and sound show! In night it looks beautiful. Totally free entry for the visitors. For senior citizens they have arranged a golf cart.
Still under construction of second phase but worth spending time.

It feels like heaven, stepping inside a mythological book that describing the different stories of shiva through the beautiful crafted monuments.

Marvelous restoration of the jyotirling. It looks much more beautiful in real life than in pictures. Only phase 1 is revealed yet. Further phases are still under construction. 900 meter long corridor. Looks more beautiful at night with the lighting. Must visit.

Wonderful place, like as Swarg, if you want to go there and want to enjoy mahakal lok then go in night. Lighting is wonderful. 👍
Also care that entry will close after 9 PM.

Travelled with family from kanpur to Ujjain by road took 11 hrs including 2 break.It's a great highway to travel comfortable travel. Mahakaleshwar Darshan is very well organised now despite heavy pilgrims. With renovation its time to revisit if you are already there 2 years back. Ujjain is a city of holy places need atleast 2-3 days to reach all holy places.
Don't miss bhasm aarti, book advance online entry pass. You only can see,no ways to touch or prashad chadhana or jal chadhana if not VVIP. Don't give money to anyone for this. Prashad mein kuch nahi chadane dete hai.

Journey was very good. Not much rush. But if you want to see the Prabhu from near then buy a ticket
