Inside the museums have the ground floor and first floor.
I noticed the crowd on the ground floor and chose to go on the first floor first. But after seeing the first floor, I realized I couldn't walk down anymore. I have to exist from the first floor.
I tried to go back into the lower area but security stopped me.

There should be a board at stairs so that tourists may easily explore them.

Loved the museum, but then I like visiting museums so i may be partial :-)
It is very well managed and there are tons of objects to see. Pottery section is worth mentioning, specially you can see the differences and similarities between different styles based on geographic location and time period. Armory and sculpture section is also well maintained. Everything is described in detail and you do not need a guide. It will take few hours to view it completely. There is a Cafe , clean washroom and ample parking space nearby. This location is covered in the combined entry ticket.

What a delightful museum this was.
You should visit at night after sundown when the lights are on.

The museum building itself is gorgeous and the lights make us a joy to be in. The ceilings and the paintings are so well done.

One thing I loved about this place is that the collection was actually interesting, varied and quite crisp. You can get through this in 1 - 1.5 he easily and it has something for everyone.

They even let you take photos which is super helpful (upload to ChatGPT and ask your questions).

Most if the sculptures from 10 AD and around are more encased and kept in the open which helps you appreciate the intricate and detailed work.

All in all, a pleasant way to spend 1.5 hours in the evening. I am glad we made the trip.

It was a nice setup. Visited here at night. The view of the museum building at night was a feast for eyes which was decorated with coloured lights. They charge rs 50 per head for the ticket. Inside the museum hall there are different types of galleries which have a collection of arms, carpets, blue pottery, sculptures, and many more. The palace in which the museum is set up is also a piece of artwork.

Albert Hall museum holds a great significance in the history of Jaipur. It is one of the most well known landmarks of the Pink City. It was inaugurated in the year 1887. The museum has a wide range of collection of various antiquities including ancient pottery works, jwellery, art forms, music, swords and armoury and many more. The building's architecture is also extraordinary. It would take you anywhere between 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs to cover all the things within the Museum.

Highly recommended for one time visit.

Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur is a captivating repository of Rajasthan's rich history. The highlight, Tutu, the mummy, is a fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian culture. The collection of old pots, dishes, and artifacts from Rajputana kings offers a comprehensive view of the region's royal heritage. The museum's commitment to preserving and showcasing these historical treasures makes it a must-visit for history enthusiasts.

A great place to spend your time. The museum is properly arranged and described in a great way.
You will love to spend about 2 to 3 hours if you are a fan of ancient history. There is an Egyptian section as well, where they have a Mummy, yes, a Mummy as well.
The whole place is great to explore. You are allowed to take pictures or record videos with your mobile. Just make sure you don't touch anything, for obvious reasons.
Also, the building is beautifully lit up in the evening. A lot of people are usually taking their pre-wedding photos in front of the place.

This was the first place to visit on our itinerary in Jaipur. At first I thought it to be a normal museum but what lay inside amazed me.
It is rightfully called the state museum of Rajasthan as it has a huge variety of collection of articrafts, sculptures, weapons, etc belonging to different eras.
One can see paintings of some scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. The collection of pottery is unique and beautiful. They have been collected from different parts of India and also from different corners of the world.
The sculptures are from as early as 7th to 8th century.
History lovers will cherish this visit. It is a good place to take your kids as there is a lot to see and learn.

Very beautiful at night. We got in for free because we had bought the composition ticket from Amber palace. It’s very beautiful but towards the end it does get a little boring. Overall, this place was my #2 in Jaipur! I would recommend coming here.

After the Noisy Hawa Mahal streets, Albert Museum seems so silent and peaceful. It opens at 9AM and Closes by 8:30. The time provided on Google is not right.
We visited after having coffee at years old Coffee house which is very nearby to this Museum.

Book your tickets online on Rajasthan state tourism website.

All you can see is Clothing, vessels, musical instruments, idols from different nations.
There’s a spacious cafe too for having food.
