Spiritual!
Calm!
Energetic!
Divine!
Serene!
What a feeling you get after reaching this place.
And the evening aarti... Goosebumps moment for all those witnessing it for the first time.
A place beyond imagination. A place full of priests. Devotees can take a deep bath and cleanse themselves. Boat Rides are available for devotees to cross the river and enjoy it's still water. One can also participate in pujas by making some donation.
Evening and Morning times are perfect to visit Ram Ghat.

This is a Ghat located on the banks of River Shipra. Here you can have a holy bath in the waters. there are steps on the side of the Ghat for easy access and to have a seat while bathing in the River.

There is also a pay and use toilets and Bath Facility where Gents and Ladies can change from wet clothes.

This is a holy place for the worshipers of Sanatan Dharma. There is an amount of cleanliness but more can be good for visitors.

Shree Ram Ghat. Before visiting the Mahakal , you must take bath in this holy river Kshipra. It’s not at all crowded. View in the night from the bridge of this ghat is awesome. There are several temples located near this ghat. You can visit them as well if you have time.

There are so many little temples here, and when I first arrive, I truly feel as though I am in Banaras. You may sit by the river and take in your most precious moments.

I came here in the evening, and the night view is magnificent.

must go once in a lifetime...

Ram Ghat, Ujjain is famous for its Kumbhmela. All the pilgrims visit Ram ghat when they visit Ujjain Mahakal temple. In recent times infrastructure of ghat areas in Ujjain is improved amd it has become hangout place to locals in evening. Evening Khipra aarti (6:00-7:00 PM) is main attraction. It is also best time to visit Ram Ghat. Ujjain is considered the Greenwich of India due to the fact that the first meridian of longitude passes through it. According to the Indian astronomers, the Tropic of Cancer passes through the picturesque city of Ujjain. The historical Ujjain is an ancient city of central India, in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.

MUST VISIT THE MOST FAMOUS KSHIPRA AARTI AT THIS PLACE.

It is also believed to take bath at this place before visiting mahakaal. The Place is deep so don't dive in unless you know how to swim. They have a board marked for it. The view at night is mesmerising.

You can also light a diya in the river but that only pollutes the water so better not to do so. You can also go and sit there in the evening to freshen up your mind.

There are also small shivlings over there which you can do abhishek of.

This is the place where at every 12 years Kumbh mela (fair) is celebrated in Ujjain on the bank of Kshipra river. The ghat is very beautifully decorated with paintings on both sides of river. The river is not very wide and also not very deep which gives benefits to pilgrims to take a bath in the holy river.
