Govindam Retreat

Went there for dinner while visiting Jaipur. It is not one of the restaurant on Main Street and you will have to go a little further in. We had paneer dish called Mughal E Diwane Khaas, paneer pudina masala and garlic naan. The order took forever to come, people had started to leave by then but the food was really good. Highly recommend.

Had a great dinner experience here. Service was prompt and precise time given on when we will get our main course.
Service was very good. We felt the rice was undercooked. Our server brought the chef to us so he could hear our feedback. They waived the rice from our bill.

Excellent quality and taste of fusion Indian dishes as well.
We ordered Kashmiri Paneer starter , cigar rolls , cream of broccoli soup and Caesar salad. Drinks could be improved. Mojito required fresh crushed mint, lemon infused.
Definite visit in pink city.

We had lunch here. We visited this place to taste the Rajasthani food. We ordered their Rajasthani thali along with additional roti. One thali is good for two people.

Another dish that is very popular on the menu is the Rajwadi handi. It is soya chaap in a very rich gravy of onion and tomato giving a taste similar to some of the non veg dishes.

There was a waiting of 15 minutes. The service was a little slow. But the overall experience was good. They also had live music.

Would definitely recommend this place.

was on a tour around the city of Jaipur, and since I knew the Hindi language, I was communicating with the people there in Hindi, so I asked one of them about a good restaurant nearby and he recommended this restaurant. It was Pure Veg Restaurant. But the quality of the food and atmosphere was great there is this popular band music.

Wonderful place close to hawa mahal, live local music, great authentic rajasthan food. we tried dal bhati thali and missi roti, paranthas, gutta curry and amazing starters- veg spring roll, Dahi kabab, paneer tikka. To top with it scrumptious food was live music amazing voice with no speakers, some bollywood numbers in folk style loved every bit of it. Not to forget the person Mr Aman served us the food with so much care and smile. Liked everything about this place

The atmosphere is very pretty and so is the service! We had rajasthani thali and it tasted amazing. Deepak was our server, and he made sure we have a great time.

We visited this place close to the closing time but they accommodated us. Special thanks to Shaqeel for being such a wonderful host and providing amazing service. The daal bhati is just too good and so is the beetroot halwa. Buttermilk is a must try too.

We had very good indian food and it was a nice ambient with beautiful indian live music. Our waiter Sageed was very kind, helpful and attentive. Thank you so much!

Very friendly service; nice ambience with live music at lunch (and they took requests for songs, which was cute); tasty food - couldn't have asked for more. As a tourist, I felt the dishes were well priced and worth the money. Definitely worth a visit if you're vegetarian or vegan

The restaurant is very nice; it's a calm and pleasant space near the temple. The service is really, really good; it's actually what we highlight the most. We went with a baby who was feeling unwell, and they were very kind to us. The food is also very tasty. The portions are generous and the prices reasonable.

I have come with my extended family of 22 for Rajasthan tour. Google search showed many restaurants with good reviews but their number were small whereas this restaurant had nearly 6000 reviews and very good ratings hence selected this one.
Firstly online service was very good and they reserved table for 22 people. Ambiance and service was excellent.
Food quality was very good and sufficient quantity. Suggestions were good. We tried Rajasthani thali, Hyderabadi pulao, Dal and rice, and Ghevar.
Overall will certainly recommend this hotel for tourists.
Most of tour operators suggest only those hotels were they get commission. So I always do my research before selecting restaurants.

We liked the food. The thali is sufficient for 2 people. The service provided by Suraj was best. He explained to us the delicacies and served us the best food from the hotel.

The ambience is amazing and so is the staff. Our server Afreen took really good care of us. The service is really quick even though it was fully packed.

There were 2 different Bati's (in Dal Bati), of which masala bati was tasty. Kadhi was also the good part of it. Remaining dishes were also quite good.

Ambience is good and food experience at this restaurant was quite ok types. Very near to City palace and Hawa Mahal it offers cuisine of all types. This is a pure veg restaurant and good to go with family and friends.

Location wise, its situated near govind devji temple and also its a bit hard to locate.
Overall a good experience you can find in the heart of Jaipur City.

It's near the City Palace. They have Rajasthani Thali and Al-a-carta both. We ordered Mixed veg and Paneer kadai with Butter Roti which tastes really great as a combination. 👍👍

Such a pavitra place it is with beautiful interior and located in the premises of Govind dev ji Temple. We ordered 7 items at just Rs 340. The best ones were Rajkachori, Rajbhog and pyaz kachori. Other than that Aloo tikki and khaman dhokla tasted good. Unfortunately Strawberry fantasy and Kiwi Fantasy tasted a bit bitter to me. But the place has an auspicious vibe with good restroom facility. A perfect place for a family visit.
