Grand View Hotel

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The service is exceptional, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the food was delicious. The owner and the manager came and introduced themselves to us and were genuinely wanting to know if we needed anything. We like the stay so much that we extended our stay. The day we were leaving we left quite early around 5am. They even packed sandwiches and juice etc for us for the way.
I had come all the way from New Zealand for a holiday with my family and have travelled all around the world. I have never experienced this level of hospitality anywhere. I would rate them 10 stars if they had that option.

Stayed here on 17th Feb 2024 for one night and it was an absolute delight.
No cons. All positives.
*Excellent Location ( 50 meters from the Bus stand)

* Courteous staff
* Beautiful rooms with top class amenities
* Delicious food at the restaurant
* Amazing DJ night/ bonfire/Karaoke in the Night.
* Most importantly -concern showed by them towards the guests. The manager came twice asking during meals, if we were having a good time. And the owner made us a call in the morning asking the same.. this is the first time I saw such kind of lovely gestures and hospitality by a property.

**We were even given a complementary room upgrade.

So in all a MUST VISIT Property.

It is very difficult to arrange the room suddenly when you are with close relatives and family. My booking was cancelled by the hotel which I booked but I was relieved to reach Grand View Hotel. Surrounded by rich nature and beautiful scenes that touches your soul and makes you feel relaxed no matter how tired you are.
I don't give ratings to anything generally but I thought for this Hotel.

Extremely lovely experience. What can I say, we had the best stay in this hotel, among all, in last few years. Food was good, rooms were clean, cozy, and very warm. Great view. Entertainment is good. The owner checks on with each guest in diner for food, complaints, if any.
Wanted to extend stay, but fully booked, better book few days more as Dalhousie has lots of activities.
I hope their hotel prospers and develop more.

Perhaps the best hotel experience. Great location, decent rooms with all facilities, courteous staff and owner who have genuine concern for all guests. Had a fantastic stay at the Grand view hotel. We had booked superior rooms with balcony. The views were amazing and rooms were big and spacious. The room heater was so good that, you don't even feel like it was winter when you are in the room. Breakfast and dinner were also too good. They have lot of options in food. They have a karaoke event every day during dinner which is a bonus. The owner(Mr. Chadda) and the resturannt manager (Mr. Rana) would talk/attend to each and every customer everyday which feels really good as they were genuinely looking for feedback about there hotel. Overall a great option to go for if you are visiting Dalhousie

Perfect Getaway location, with a Perfect Hotel, a Very delightful staff, a hotel with a great view, Heritage Hotel, and top class staff.
Rooms with all facilities, heater, hitting blanket, tea, hot water.
Dinning provides a good experience to kids as well as adults.
Hotel has a good viewing point at the top also, also the rooms provide you with good view. Lots of activities are taken up by the hotel to keep the visitors entertained.

Also the staff at the restaurant - special mention to them for being so so so kind. They went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten intolerance. One of the best place to stay.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. All the staffs are well behaved, and during dinner time, even owner comes and meet with people.

It was nice for us to stay here, we stayed for 2 days, and all the staffs treated us very well. They took care of all the issues that we raised, and addressed them quickly and professionally.
One of them was, we got cold because of the pretty cold weather, and we didn't prepare for it, so when we said room is not warm enough, they provided a room heater, switched on the central heating system too.
For our sickness, they gave us medicine as all the medicine shops were closed because of Sunday.

We had both breakfast and dinner here, and food was really great. You won't be disappointed for sure.

Location wise also it's perfect.

This is one of the best hotel in whole Himachal pradesh.. best in every class rooms are cozy and beautifully maintained . Views are awesome and the best part is their hospitality is above any 5 star property. Food is yummy and personal tip is do try cookies from their bakery it's so good. We had an absolutely amazing stay. If possible, I would give service 7 stars. The buffet food was excellent with hardly any repeats over 5 days. The staff really care about your experience and stay. The owner personally is on the restaurant floor every night and makes sure of that. Well located. The view from the window is gorgeous (no need to draw the blinds for privacy too!). Cannot recommend it highly enough. The wifi in the room was terrible, so good for a real vacation! The thermostat actually worked too!

Grand View hotel is an amazing place to stay and explore Dalhousie. The Hotel not only offers spectacular views from the property but also tops it up with Excellent Service and Amazing Food. The Hospitality of the entire staff was beyond compare.
