A very beautiful place. If you're a museum and culture enthusiast, you must go. It's very informative as well, to understand the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthani music as well as the history of caste involved in it. I really enjoyed the experience of being there and it's wonderfully curated as well!

Latest fantastic initiative by Jaipur Virasat Foundation has been Jaipur Literature Festival 2023 held at Hotel Clarks Amer during Jan19 to Jan23.The Greatest Literary show on Earth, that brought together the most brilliant minds from across countries & continents Main attraction were Mr Gulzar & Mr Zaved Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Amish Tripathi, Mrs Sudha Murthy.
It hosted India's vast artisans, exhibiting their handmade goods & it also show cased apparel, jwelleries, footwears, life style, home decor & utilities, it also offered food stalls.
It was best crowd puller from Youths & Elders from old age group.
Me alongwith my friends enjoyed the event

JVF (Mr Rakshat) is doing a significant work in promoting the Rajasthani culture & the local music and dance forms of Rajasthan, thereby giving a platform to the local artisans to showcase their culture to all. Such musical evenings are always a pleasant music to the ears.

Besides these musical evenings, JVF also organizes various heritage walks in Jaipur city & various other activites.

I am a big fan of what they are doing, they are passing on the cultures to the next generation by conservation of several art forms and dying music.
The music museum offers great insight into the Rajasthan regional musical journey.
You should definitely visit with family and keep checking out their posts since they keep organizing amazing workshops for children and adults.

Jaipur Virasat Foundation is doing a great job to promote Rajasthani music. I attended a program by the 'langas', we are lucky to have such organization in Jaipur which is contributing towards the preservation, growth and acceptance of Rajasthani music.

I feel they too will come up in a big way in time to come. Such organizations are evoking the interest of youth in their own culture.

Music heritage of India. It's run by the patronage of Bansals. Very generous of them to provide the venue. I wish government also give financial support to such ventures

Damn this place😍 right place to explore if you are a folk music lover. They have maintained the vintage folk instruments so well. And you can watch so many documentary films in there. Glorious place for a music lover. Thank you Jaipur Virasat Foundation to maintain and manage to keep up the root alive❤

JVF is a custodian of Rajasthani arts, culture, music and dance. Its a remarkable organistaion that pioneered the Jaipur Literature Fest. There is also a well appointed museum to check out. They also feature cultural performances albeit occasionally (FB page holds the details). This spot is worth a visit and a must for every Jaipuri/Rajasthani.
