We had 10 days to explore India and had a fantastic experience traveling with India by Car and Driver. Ramesh and his brother Deepak were incredible guides, showing us a variety of locations and historical sites. Communication was smooth and they were flexible with our schedule. They arranged knowledgeable guides for our tours and helped provide a balance of experiences—both historical and cultural. Our time flew by, but we were able to experience the beauty of northwest India without it feeling too rushed. I highly recommend using them for a safe, smooth, and enjoyable way to explore India.

I can highly recommend India by car and driver. We have travelled to India many times and feel this is by far the best way to go. India by car and driver can help you put together a personalised trip giving you the flexibility to choose your route, what you see and within your budget. Or you can choose one of their ready-made tours which will provide you with an excellent well-planned trip. From our initial contact, Ramesh was very helpful and prompt in putting together our itinerary and we were able to suggest and tweak things to our liking. They have expert knowledge on the areas they cover and their pricing is reasonable. They have an eye for detail and are very reliable. Our 3 weeks have flown by without a hitch and we have enjoyed every second but what has really made our trip is Rajesh (Raj) our driver! He has been superb from the minute he met us at the airport to the end of our journey. His kindness, knowledge, inordinate patience, pleasant disposition, humour and inbuilt Google maps has ensured our trip has been more than we could have hoped. He has been our guide, shopping expert, restaurant advisor and much, much more. Nothing has been too much trouble for him and nothing has phased him. We have learned so much and seen much more than we could have hoped. Without a doubt you will experience India in a way a group tour just cannot compare. It may be daunting to make the leap from using a UK travel agent to going through an India-based tour company but we cannot fault India by car and driver, they are trustworthy have infinite local knowledge and you can have complete confidence in using their service.

We had a great experience with India By Car And Driver! From the very first contact to the booking process, during which Ramesh helped us out in defining the journey details and plan. Our driver Raj was the best we could have asked for: not only a perfect driver that made us feel always safe on the road, always on time with a clean car but also our personal Indian storyteller, street food expert, and ultimately a travel companion that spend 14 days with us driving around all Rajasthan, Agra and Delhi dedicating us all the possibile attentions.

My partner and I just got back from our trip to India and we could not have done this trip without the help of India by Car and Driver! Our driver was Bagwhat Singh and we could not have been happier! He picked us up in Jaipur with a friendly smile and a flower necklace; we felt taken care of immediately. He drove us around between Jaipur, Ranthambore, Agra, and Delhi over 6 days. He was accommodating even when we wanted to go to many different places and drive late into the night, making sure that all our desires were met. The car was clean, comfortable, air-conditioned, and bottled water was always available. Bagwhat was friendly and fun to get to know. He gave us many recommendations on places to eat or things to do. The drives were made more interesting by Bagwhat pointing out landmarks as we drove by and teaching us things about their history. We are so, so happy that we booked with India by Car and Driver. If we make our way back to India, we will definitely use them again and recommend their services to everyone!

I have to give full credit to Ramesh and India By Car and Driver.

My experience started with a query about a single transfer from Jaipur to Agra for 10 people plus full luggage. The company was very responsive and easy to work with. I expressed some concern about vehicle size given the amount of bags we were bringing and was quickly reassured by a bump in vehicle size as if it was no issue at all.

Just before finalizing the booking others in our group reached out to me to expand this service to a full two day car and driver rental that could support going to various tour sites, restaurants, temples, etc. Alongside doing the long transfer from Jaipur to Agra(with 2 drop-off points in Agra) we also added Agra to Delhi as well. Again, Ramesh replied near immediately with the new quote and assured me it was no issue. We finalized this service.

Two days before arrival my group proposed to use the same service for transfer from the Jaipur Airport to the Holiday Inn in Jaipur Center.. this time for 12+bags. Again Ramesh was quick to reply and we got this setup as well. And the price on this transfer was better than the transfer I setup for only 4 people in Mumbai.

Ramesh met us at the airport and handed us off to the driver. The vehicle was clean and well maintained. Indeed it did fit the 12 of us and our luggage.

There was a small communication barrier between me and the driver however two in our group could speak freely with the driver so it was not a logistical issue for us. Driver was professional and not only drove the vehicle but also loaded/unloaded luggage, walked us to the temples, and adapted on the fly to many last minute requests such as extra stops. Even dropping 2 off our group off at their requested location before we transferred to Agra as they were not going with us.

The price of services was perhaps slightly more than a basic transfer booking would have been. However, factoring in a fully customizable experience with clean/modern vehicles alongside the flexibility of the company and driver and the ease of communication with Ramesh, the price difference was easily worthwhile.

I definitely would use their services again and I fully recommend them to others.

I can’t rate these guys highly enough. Suri, our driver was awesome. He was very patient and handled the crazy Indian roads with care. The car also had wifi and water. Good value and a great way to see the country. He was helpful and always punctual. I can 100% recommend these guys.

Booked India by car and driver for trip to Ahmedabad and Udaipur. Overall very professional service offered from the time of booking till the final drop at the airport. The driver and the car was always clean and it was a really good trip.

I contacted Ramesh after a favorable referral from a close friend. Ramesh provided us with an SUV driven by Mr. Surrendera for two days for local Jaipur sightseeing and travel. There was none of the how many hours you need business. The car was available for the day as needed which was very practical. The car was neat and well kept, the driver, Mr. Surrendera was polite, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. He navigated us to the places we wanted to visit and was a good source of tips and advice. As I planned my trip to India for my family with 2 children, I was wondering how to make it easy, safe and unforgettable. As many travelers here, I found India By Car and Driver on TripAdvisor. Mr. Surendra shared with me all his knowledge and patience in creating my trip. Always answering so prompt to all my questions and always so attentive to all my changes. My itinerary was Delhi - Agra - Delhi - Varanasi - Jaipur - Udaipur - Jodhpur - Delhi. For the first part of my trip we had as a driver Mr. Dashrath who was so nice, so patient, always on time, always trying to make my kids happy etc. Mr. Dashrath is an amazing driver, always giving us the feeling of safety. The car was clean, comfortable, plenty of water, everything what is needed for a memorable drive.

For the second part of our trip we had as a driver Dana who was so funny and full of life. Always smiling and joking.

We were very pleased with all the services offered by India By Car and Driver. Starting from planning, the trip itself and the beautiful memories we have created in this mesmerizing country. We traveled in February, 2018... Even if a lot of time passed by from February, 2018 I couldn't forget my beautiful tour of India and the amazing service we received from India By Car and Driver. Without question, one of the most professional, helpful and organised companies I have ever encountered.
Me and my partner visited Kerala in October and were lucky enough to engage the services of Fen and Niju from India by Car. A few months before our trip I contacted a number of travel firms asking for quotes and advice for a week long trip around Kerala. From the start, one company stood out and I quickly decided that we would be using IBCAD for our holiday. Fen was just the most helpful and reassuring person and he helped me plan our itinerary so much. I felt more comfortable booking our own accommodation and just hiring the car and driver separately. But this was no problem at all, At no point did Fen pressure me into anything or try to sell me hotels or trips. By the end we had a huge long email chain, full of me asking stupid questions and I always felt fen was there for even the smallest matter. I was sent the phone number and what's app of our driver a few weeks before, so we got to say hi and finalise a few things before our trip. When we finally got to meet Niju face to face, we knew in about 10 seconds that we were going to have an amazing time. We weren't wrong. He was a great, calm and experienced driver with exceptional English. My partner isn't great in cars, but she felt safe and relaxed for the whole trip. The car was always spotlessly clean and he was early for every single meeting. He also knows all the best places to stop for food. We literally could not have asked for more from India by Car and Driver. If you are planning a trip in India, do not hesitate to contact them, these people are real professionals and I would recommend them to anyone.

We have now returned from our incredible journey through India over one month . All our drivers and guides were extremely considerate and polite thruout. However , we would like to mention Gajraj in particular who drove us around over 11 days. He greeted us at the airport with a welcome garland and was always thinking of our personal safety when he dropped us anywhere. His driving was careful and consistent and he was always willing to answer any questions we had on the road. He was friendly and courteous at all times. He kept his car clean and tidy at all times and even had sweets for us . Thankyou everyone but in particular , a big Thankyou to Gajraj

Went on a trip last year with my Dad and had a fantastic time. I had the pleasure of meeting and driving with Nemi and Gujraj. If you can, ask for these guys. Great down to earth guys that will take you where ever you want to go and keep you safe. Couldn’t have asked for better drivers, they really are that awesome!

I'm from the US and decided to rent a car for one day from Jaipur to Agra and on to Delhi. The driver took great care of me, making the stops I wanted to including a hard to find restauraunt that I found online. He connected me with guides at each stop who were savvy navigators and knowledgeable about the sites (including the very impressive Taj Mahal). I would recommend this company to anyone visiting the area.

Had to make an emergency trip to India in november and Ramesh and his team proved again that they are the best. If you need car and any other services provided by this company, you can hire them without thinking twice.

I highly recommend Ramesh and his team. They were prompt, courteous and really went out their way to make sure that we had a great time. They didn't just stick to the itinerary, they showed us other interesting things in India.
