Sree Ayyappan Temple

Very powerful Swamy Ayyappa temple. Usually crowded during mandala season. Many Swami who are travelling to Sabarimala come here for Kettunirai. Daily free Annadan is conducted here. Main deity is Lord Ayyappa. Neivilakk, neeranjanam are main rituals for Lord Ayyappa. For Ganapathy people offer arugam pull(grass) and vettila maala for Lord Anjaneya. Lord Vishnu, Lord Siva, Lord parvathi, Lord muruga and Navagraha and serpants are other deities in temple. Peaceful atmosphere and one gets peace of mind when coming to the temple. Rituals are conducted in proper way with utmost purity. Yearly festivals are conducted.

You can offer your prayers to Lord Ayyappa and also contribute to his favorable dhanam, Annadhanam. In this templae you have a separate space for making your Irumudi and a lot of travel organisers are in and around the temple for Sabarimala. If your planning to visit, make sure you find a parking space for your vehicles. As the rod is too narrow for parkingand it will get filled with vehicleswithin minutes.

It's a divine experience and many of my friends told me that every swamy idol will stand as sabarimala temple. And not only archanai, we can also make pushpanjalis ( which you can get a clear detail in the ticket counter).

Very beautiful temple on a lane decorated with flowers. While from outside it looks rather small , but once inside you will see that it is quite spacious and clean. Visit highly recommended.

Sree Ayyappa temple is overall peaceful. It resembles so much like temples in Kerala.
The location is easy to find, just on the side of the road. Good ambience in the temple.

Divine temple Kerala style. Huge crowd of Devotees when we visited on Vijayadasami day to perform Vidyarambam for their kids. Only Street side Parking is available.
