Library Ground [ Sector - 5 ]

Library ground is situated near the Pattharkatta Chowk in sector 5. It's a huge ground. People go overe there for walking, exercising, playing, general fitness in morning, evening. There is a paved way for jogging. It has general fitness machines installed that we use. A lot of people and children play cricket, football. It's also an ideal place to conduct large scale ceremonies in the City. We had visited a yoga session by Baba Ramdev. Children from all schools attended that session. The COVID care center also was created and maintained overe there. There is a stage also that can be used for all functions organised. One can do cycling, learn to ride bikes, drive cars over there. A multi purpose ground for the city. I recommend to visit in morning and early evening with friends and family.

Library ground is situated very near to City Centre market Sector 4, just around 1.5kms.
Good place for morning walk, gym facility available free of cost.

This place is great for learning driving. It is good for both two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving. It has lot of space so you can also play sports like cricket, football, etc.

Best place to play outdoors games (especially cricket & football).

Latest news is that, this ground is now used for COVID VACCINATION

This ground is now covered totally by Medanta Hospital for using as COVID CARE CENTRE with all facilities such as ICU, OXYGEN, etc

Very very big ground many peoples of city come there and run or do exercise this is suitable for all types of peoples adult and childrens also many functions are organized there nowadays there is also a small published c gym has been opened in that gym many types of equipment are available for joint exercises and stretching and this small gym doesn't charge any money to people for doing exercises there and this gym is for all adults and childrens ,, male and female too this is one of the biggest fields in Bokaro Steel City ,,, please like my review and photos 🙏🏻☺

Its like heaven in the morning...Best Place for jogging & Walking

All the facilities are very good, the food is very tasty, the behavior of the people is very good.

It used to be wonderful, lush green playground for kids and elderly people of the city Bokaro. But, sadly in times of Covid, there is a huge makeshift tent house has been erected to be used for vaccination and isolation centre.
We miss our Sector 5 playground!

I had gone there once with my friends some 3 years ago for a walk. It was a pleasant day and i still remember how happy we were together, there was no tension and we were enjoying ourselves, watching others jogging and jumping, laughing etc. It all was sorted and now that everything has changed, only the place remains constant.

Awesome where you can relax and do pull ups. You can play cricket football etc and learn driving car. An open gym is there but all equipments are targeted towards old age. No calisthenics equipments. One pull up bar opposite to library. Now majority of it is captured for covid ward or vaccination. Still back side is open for playing

It is good open field area used as play ground, rallies and people gathering occassions.

Went here to get my jab at the big Covid Vaccination Camp set by Vedanta Hospital last week. It was very good experience. Ground was not dirty even when crowded. There were over thousands of people gathered.

Me and my friends used to practice Cricket here. When we get thirsty we used to get water from the Library. This place have many amazing memories for me. This place gave me my lifelong friends. Its unbelievable that even a not so good place can hold an unforgettable memories ❤.

Big area in bokaro steel city for organizing any big occasions known for the library there set up by bokaro steel limited, ground provided a huge area to bokaro administration to set up the largest covid hospital and vaccination center in bokaro by the vedanta group which a big relief to all, the public, administration and government

Also known as PUSHTAKALAY MAIDAN now has a covid care hospital, vaccination center. It it really clean and well maintained. Even there is a small shop with snacks and water on one corner of the field
