Garga dam is a excellent place to visit with family. This place is very popular for its scenic beauty . In this place you can also enjoy family picnic .It provides water to BOKARO STEEL PLANT and township also.
I have visited Garga dam several times This time I was there for a whole day and enjoyed picnic with my family.It is a good picnic spot.The scenic beauty is fantastic.Nice place to refresh life.

This place is good to hang around, but lacks maintenance. Roads are not good and it becomes worst in rainy season. It's a good picnic spot for people of Bokaro and near by. One can visit this place early in the morning if they wish to buy fresh fish.
