Ekmi Ghat Bridge

Ekmi Ghat brdige over the Bagmati river is the main entrance towards the Darbhanga city from the Samastipur Road. This is the link bridge. Every year in rainy season the river is flooded. The bridge is the lifeline for the both sides people. The river is deep and long. In the past this road is single connectivity toward the Samastipur Hajipur and Patna from the Darbhanga city.

My Question is why Hindu Rituals places were such a place which is on the outskirts of the city,

Peaceful place, now a days all bus stop is transferred to ekmi ghat chowk, the inter state bus do not cross main city in dbg hajma chowk, all bus cross from ekmi ghat chowk. Through shoban.

At cross roads to laheriasari and sobhan ekmi bypass road connecting to NH 57, you visit this place for shopping for fruits vegetables and snacks.
