History:

The school provides education from class I to class XII. It seeks to instill a sense of social responsibility and offers a base for higher academic pursuits and job-oriented education. Apart from the diversity of its curricula, great emphasis is laid on the preparation of projects and students are encouraged to participate in crafts. Special features of the school are remedial teaching and career guidance. The medium of instruction is English and it follows the pattern of CBSE .

Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university located in New Delhi, India. Jamia senior secondary school is a reputed school, almost 100 years old and under the central university Jamia Millia islamia. It is one of the best secondary school for minorities and have a beautiful campus and excellent curriculum. The buildings of the school are a fabulous example of Islamic architecture with bulbous domes and arches and exposed brick facades.

Its one of the 3 Jamia Millia Islamia school. Getring admitted here is not a very easy task as there are lot of candidates who want to apply so, one must has to crack it's entrance exam in order to get in here.

Campus has a old and good architecture building. Green & tidy campus.

I have spent my very special 2 years of 11th and 12th standard.
I had been a Vice Head Boy of JMI Sr. Sec School for the Academic Session of 2014-15.

The best part of this school is the teaching style of teachers here.

My personal favourite was Akhtar sir (Accounts Teacher):
1. Whenever he received calls start smiling naturally.
2. He never absent in my 2 years classes except 1 day (due to illnesses).
3. Very punctual teacher and sometimes takes extra time of next period👍
4. He always wear formal Coat and Pants in Winter, which speaks louder about his personality.
5. I never saw him in anger, even he scold students with subtle smile.
6. In my 12th class, I wrote a Poem and dedicated it to Akhtar sir in Morning assembly on Stage. Because as I heard that Akhtar sir always kept him busy of reading Newspaper while school assembly, so I thought that I will break it and dedicated my poem to Akhtar sir by calling him on stage.

On that day, Akhtar sir was very enlightened with my act and said thanks to me in his Accounts period.

I have most of the memories of this school with other teachers too (i.e., Ghazala Ma'am, Jamaal Pasha sir, Shazia Ma'am, etc.)

Inshaallah i will meet them all in near future.

It is really best school In New Delhi. You have got many Bad reviews on Google but Trust me Its only a Rumour that is Spreading For a personal benefit. So, go ahead and take admission in JMI Schools. Thank you

There are lots of bright kids in India who are not able to bear the economy of high quality education in theirs villages and small towns.... Jamia Millia Islamia plays a big role and provides a canvas for these creative kids to fill out the colours in their future portrait.
Jamia school is built with the Moto of providing milestone education with negligible cost just as a nominal fee with high quality facilities for the rural students belong to minority communities and economically weak background.
Each year Jamia provide open and transparent procedure to fill up the seats in Jamia school.
Usually form filling start from March -april.

It's a Co-ed government school and with some of the great teachers like rais sir (physics), Shuja sir (maths) etc.
Rais sir you are the best, you don't only teaches subject but life lessons which I am experiencing correct after years.

My school. Memories left on mind. I have an experience of first shift, although I studied for only 2 years here but it was the turning point of my life in many ways. I don't like jamia staff but the culture, love we receive from fellow classmates(atleast it happens in school).you'll get friends for life.Thought it can't match aligs but still far better than others;I was previously studying at Cambridge school. Education standards were obviously opposite but education isn't everything, surroundings teach us allot. One should always consider taking admission in JMI school specially 1st shift.

Best central university in india, nursery to P.Hd. Courses are available, better educational environment.

found out that this is almost the best school in the whole of Delhi for economic class...the faculty is really great...and all the facilities are just awesome at this place...it is ofcourse of very less fee....for the school it takes only ₹4000 every year which can again be refunded if the Student secures good marks in scholarship exam....and coming to the hostel,it is ₹25000...per year..which is not a great deal any parents to afford....

Best school with beautiful infrastruture.......

A place where I spent a lot of times and have created uncountable memories 💞 . If you get a chance to go to Jamia never miss that opportunity, that'll pleasurable moment for you.
