Aamod At Dalhousie

It was wonderful stay at Aamod suits hotel at Dalhousie.Very peaceful atmosphere surrounding the hotel. Very neat and clean rooms, everything new and very hygienic.Staff is very cooperative and well behaved.
I would love to stay here again and again. God bless them to serve their guests always like this.

Aamod Dalhousie is one of the finest properties of Aamod group. It is located at hill top and that's why the view from resort is breathtaking. Pir panjal range can be clearly seen on a sunny day. Resort itself is very good, clean and appropriately managed. Staff is very courteous and well behaved. Resort manager, Mr. Hansraj is gem of a person, he is so polite and helping. We were visited the resort with some good expectations but it turns out to be one of best and memorable tour. All because of good vibes inside and outside resort. Food is so delicious and homely type, full marks to the awesome chefs and staff. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. Restaurant is clean and beautifully presented. One can feel direct contact with nature while staying here. Besides resort is the thick forest that makes the location more breathtaking. Overall it was memorable stay and we have taken along us some beautiful memories.

Aamod Dalhousie is located a fair 15 minutes of drive up from the town of Dalhousie. During snow-season, it takes 25 minutes to go from Dalhousie Mall road to Aamod because the road is narrow and snow-filled. In other seasons, I suppose the commute must be much faster,

THE RESORT is an absolute beauty in snow-season. Most of its cottages have a balcony, a stunning view of either the spanning valley or the forest. The rooms have a standing heater, a water heater, a TV, enough space for hanging/stacking stuff an luggage, plus a locker. The washroom has a wall-wide mirror, separate area for wash basin, and shower space. The lights are mostly cozy, and the bathroom is the most well-lit area, especially for make-up purposes. There is a sofa, cute cushions, and enough sockets to charge 4 devices at once.

THE FOOD is good enough. They have a terrace restaurant and an indoor restaurant. The menu isn't too elaborate, but there is enough to keep you occupied. Keep in mind that the food will feel expensive because it is the only option you will get up there. The nearest Maggie point is at least a 15 minutes walk down in snow-season. And its too freezing to make that distance. So room service is the best option.

There is a game room to keep children occupied. There is a lot of space around, in case you want to take a walk or capture some beautiful shots.

IN SNOW SEASON, the resort can feel isolated(we loved the seclusion, though!) Keep in mind that the roads are narrow and the resort is located up high so if its snowing too bad, you can get stuck up their or be unable to reach the resort. Time your holidays accordingly.

Overall, Aamod is perhaps the most scenic, beautiful, and stunning place to stay at in Dalhousie. The service is genuinely good. They will provide a taxi on demand, the charges will be additional. And, you will enjoy your time there, that's for sure.

Aamod resort is just amazing!! The chilling winds at 7500 ft and the scenes visible from there are fabulous.. catering facility is fast and everything is yummy served... Especially in winters one can go for tea there as they provide really refreshing tea and even the food served is very tasty. As it is a forest area one needs to be careful at night and there are heaters available in every room so you can opt going in winters too

Just awesome experience!!!! Best resort i have been to in quite some time...the location is just also perfect. Its the last resort and till the height top. We went in March End 2019 and enjoyed a lot. We could get the snow look out of the room and snow everywhere around the resort!!! Id looking for a place to chill!!! Must visit...u will definitely love it.

We stayed here from 19th-22nd Nov, 2018. This quaint little resort with the view of snow-capped mountains on one side and deep pine woods on the other is an ideal place for a wonderful holiday. The room we stayed in was huge and had a special seating area in it. In addition to that, there was another smaller room too with sofas and couches. The panoramic window from one end to the other of the huge room is just out of the world. It is an eco-friendly resort and so they do not have centralized air conditioning. But they provide you with heaters which definitely served the purpose. It was very cozy there and the staff members were very helpful. The food was amazing too. This is definitely the best place to stay in if you are planning to travel to Dalhousie.

We had an amazing time at Aamod, serene peaceful in the lap of nature. Forest is exactly behind the property, great for walks trek through the woods. Aamod serves you great food, hence you don't feel the lack of other restaurants nearby. Special thanks to the manager Pradeep who went out of his way to make us feel special and at home. Mahendra our trek guide was highly entertaining narrating local stories
Food- 4 stars, really liked the khatta chicken, lahsuni dal, dal makhani and my favourite moong dal halwa. Kudos to Chef Satpal Thanks again Pradeep for the special dinner and the decoration

The breath taking views and the ambience of the surroundings make the the stay worthwhile. Rooms are neat and tidy.. staff is very polite. Best place to relax and have some good time with family. Table tennis , pool table and adventures are avaialable at the same place.

Amazing experience. Beautiful location and delicious food. Service was exceptional. Set in a scenic location away from City it's an absolutely wonderful place to unwind. I will strongly recommend to anyone who loves nature and quiet.

I am writing this review after quite a long time... But since I m moving out from Dalhousie so I just want to thanx Aamod Dalhousie as we had visited several times to this beautiful place and it was amazing experience. Amazing ambience, breathtaking view of the valley from where you can witness sunrise n sunset in its true essence....amazing food... I m gonna miss this place as I had so many good memories with my frnds at this place.

Nice place. Beautiful view. No shops or market around. A few kms ahead of Dalhousie Public School.
Rooms have electric blankets/sheets and standing heaters. Don't forget using the sheets. They do have a bar and and Restaurant that close around 10.30 pm.

It's about one or two km away from mall road. So there is no noise pollution. One can sit and relax and have some delicious food. Rooms are good. Services are also good.

Dalhousie could not be better if we hadn’t stayed at Aamod...serene ..peaceful...relaxing and charming. The location plays a very vital part of the holiday and aamod is created in between picturesque mountains ...coniferous tress and clouds. Food was excellent and service was very warm and welcoming.

Visiting aamod was a good option as I loved the view from there. It is located on height and also maintained very well. There are rooms and also dining area moreover who are nature lovers sit outside and enjoy the scenery. It’s just amazing.

Aamod is an amazing place. If you are going to relax and enjoy then this is the beat place to go. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The food is amazing and service is great. I had a 2 day stay here and had a wonderful time. The views were amazing.

Amazing place to be, absolutely scenic...you can touch th clouds if you are visiting it in monsoons...resort has a very good view of you get the front rooms facing valley...

One of the bestest places ever visited ... Had gone on University tour ... More then 60 students visited .. it's a beautiful place .. had been there for the first time ... Nature lovers must visit this place once ... It was a nice experience ... We had gone there in December ....
