Among the oldest churches, the Milagries Church also has its feet. This church is situated in the heart if mangalore city called Hampankatta. Even this place us called Milagries. The church is surrounded by many more landmarks such as Mangalore central railway station. The church has lot of place in the front. This is mostly used as the parking for the people who visits this church. This church has the grotto and also a prayer place dedicated to st.Anthony.

It is situated near Mangalore Central Railway Station and Hotel Taj Mahal.

This Roman Catholic church belongs to the Milagres Parish. A unit of the Diocese of Mangalore. It's 300+ years old.
It was demolished by Tippu Sultan in the late 18th century after one of his battles with the British. Rebuilt after his death. It now stands as a landmark in the center of Mangalore at Hampankatta.
The church, which was renovated recently, is spacious and has excellent ventilation. Dedicated to Our Lady of Miracles. It is very popular with local as well as outstation devotees.
The Sunday service at 8.15AM is in English and is well attended. The service is greatly enhanced by the beautiful hymns sung by an excellent choir.

I attend Saturday Mass almost every week. And I love it there , it's so peaceful & everything so perfect. So serene ❤
