Room service are very good. Food is very tasty. I always prefer this hotel whenever I come to manglore. ❣ This hotel is safe and we can trust the hotel waiters.

Visited here to have Lunch around 1:30 pm
They provided food in old style, replacing plates into Natural Banana Leaf , The staffs were too friendly and the taste was so awesome Felt no added chemicals or used any kind of old oil everything was just pure, They have dedicated parking to park our cars , Coming to the pricing they charged 220/- for 2 Person pricing was decent and Highly recommended

The best drive-in and an age old name in mangalore for golibaje dosa Kashi halwa... I still remember the special lunch they served me on the plantain leaf 30 years ago.... now it's changed into plates. Must try while visiting Mangalore

An iconic place with the old time charm . Reasonably good parking space but at times difficult to find a spot for parking . Indoor and in car service available . Right in the heart of the city . Don't miss to order for Golibhajje and coffee .

The room was a bit on the expensive side but it was located at a perfect place near the main highway on Mangalore. The room was fantastic, the bed wasn't too soft and springy like most hotels and the washroom was clean as well. The room gave nostalgic vibes, lots of parking space and decent food as well. The service was quick and the staff were very polite and humble.

I visited this place twice this tine for dinner the previous day and for breakfast the next day. This place serves lunch, various rice items as well as tiffen items. Enjoyed what was served. They serve food for people sitting in parked cars too.

The Golibaje is very famous here since 40+years! Masala Dose also.
Little expensive but visit once and taste it. Has good Parking Yard.

Woodlands is at a very convenient location, close to the bus stop, close to hospitals......the veg meals are heavenly, served in huge proportion, lots of side dishes and very tasty, with second servings if needed.

great parking space, ambience is quite good. Spacious yet always crowded. They deliver to the car if parked in their parking lot.

Very spacious and most importantly clean rooms. With the best service. One vegetarian restaurant is placed inside the hotel. Very good vegetarian food is available there. For vegetarian people, it will prove worth. Don't take AC rooms in the rainy season because here the weather in that season is below 30 so it cools already.

Rooms are greatly maintained for a 30 year old hotel

Stayed at Woodlands Hotel for 2 days. We were on vacation. It was a last minute trip, hence, we hadn't reserved any rooms in any hotel. We dropped by a restaurant close to Jyothi circle and took recommendations for our stay and this was one of them. Immediately we gave them a call and checked if there was a room for a family of 3 to check-in in the next 30-40 mins and they informed us that it can be arranged but it's a non-ac room. We finsihed our lunch and checked the Google maps for location. If was 2 minutes away from the luncheon place.

The person at the helpdesk/reception was cordial. We informed them that it was us who gave them a call a couple of minutes ago. They took our details and showed us to our room.

The room was well maintained even though it's an old building. The bathroom was clean. Hot water, shower, towels and soaps were provided as expected.

For 2 days stay, Non-AC room, we paid about 3.2k (which is a very good deal indeed).

Coming to the location, Woodlands Hotel is 100m from Jyothi circle, on Bunts Hostel road, Hampankatta. It's location was ideal for us to visit places we had on our list. Quiet area.

The hotel has a restaurant too. I would suggest eating out unless you have no choice. Its a below average restaurant in my opinion and my family. The taste of food is okay-ish, but the money you pay is high. You can find many restaurants around this area, fret not.

They have parking available.

Hotel-The good old woodland hotel.famous for their lunch on a Plantain leaf. Simple fare. Just one vegetable (beetroot Upkari), one Rasam, One Chapati, One small cup of curds, One papad, little pickles and Red Boiled Rice (white rice too is available) and unlimited service of spicey sambhar. Rice is served as many times as people want to eat. Very tasty. Just Rs, 105 per person is a good value for money.

Rooms -
Few seeping walls and aged furniture.
The service is good , though the staff are very senior in age.
The parking place is excellent and the location itself is very very convenient.
The restaurant down is very good for the evening snack and veg meals.
The place desperately calls for renovation
