Legendary place. Went for the 2nd time and it wasn’t a let down at all. The prawn ghee roast or prawns fry or fish curry was amazing. The Mutton ghee roast was average and very expensive. Set dosa with Chicken ghee roast was excellent. Great place for a meal always.

After raving about my first experience here I eagerly returned, expecting another stellar dining adventure. Unfortunately, this visit was markedly different, revealing some inconsistencies that left me feeling underwhelmed.

However, it was the service and food quality on this occasion that didn’t quite live up to my fond memories.

In conclusion, my second visit was a mixed bag.The food quality compared to my first visit were disappointing.

Great food…chicken ghee roast and neer dosa is yummiest
Chicken sukka is also good
Its a bit noisy
Service is slow as they serve fresh

Highly recommend the chicken ghee roast and the fish thali here. Food is simple but tasty.

Delicious homemade food! Portion sizes were big and filling

I went here for dinner after my friend recommended me during my visit to Mangalore. I had sea food thali which was priced at 399, and it was really good. It had a different local taste and some ghee roast masala which is quite popular here. Overall my dining experience was good. They also serve liquor here. If you're planning for new food experience, then this one's a must try.

Awesome seafood thali with generous quantities and superb taste. Great squid servings. Other fish served here was delicious took. Reasonable prices. Great service too.

One of the Best Restaurants in Mangalore Serving authentic Coastal Dishes.
The fish is very fresh and cooking is done using raw spices and Coconut Oil. The Service is very fast & Waiters greet you with a smile. Prices are quite reasonable for the ambience they provide.

We visited Shetty Lunch Home for lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant is quite clean and has a good vibe. I highly recommend the sea food thali with boiled rice (quite filling too!). The staff was very friendly, especially the manager. I'd come back here for another meal!

Place is good for sea food. However ambience is a bit dark. Could be better and no AC. It gets very hot!

The only place to get your chicken ghee roast cravings satisfied. Great food, reasonably priced and good service. The A/C seating inside is depressing, recommend sitting outside!

Very tasty food but service needs to be improved. The atmosphere can do with some sprucing up as well.

From visiting first time to satiate my cravings for chicken ghee roast to recurring visits to try out their chicken sukka, tandoori pomfret, butter garlic prawns/squid; I simply can't help but only fall in love with their ever delicious offerings.

Though you find many hotels serving very good seafood in the town, Shetty Lunch Home has taken the game to next level with their massive seafood thali and many other concepts that are unique to them or they have pioneered.

One of the top 2-3 must visit restaurants when you're in Kudla.

This is the best restaurant in mangaluru for family with excellent taste. Machhli is next to this. Have King fish which is very tasty. Price also nominal. You will love the food. Whether it is far or late, have lunch or dinner. Else you will miss the mangaluru food.

One of the best seafood Thali I’ve ever had. Squid was cooked to perfection and tasted good. Chicken Ghee roast is a must try. Overall a great place to have authentic Mangalorean cuisine.
