Beautiful Resort in the lap of nature in Upper Mawiong Mylliem, Shillong, enjoyed our stay at Shillong during our Meghalaya trip. It's outside the congested city area. So you can enjoy the nature here.

Amazing place to stay! This is located in upper Shillong, away from the city center. This worked out conveniently for us since we were travelling to other places in Meghalaya and would halt at Silver Brooks to break up the journey. We stayed in the dorms. They were clean, neat and have ample space. You will get a bed all to yourself. The restroom is shared. Other shared amenities are the desk, storage rack etc. There is also an option for female travelers to take a female only dorm. Apart from this, tents and private rooms are also available. The dorms are extremely budget friendly and worked out best for us (group of friends). The staff are extremely friendly, courteous and did their best to accommodate our requests. A few of us fell sick and they were able to procure medicines etc. quite late into the night. They also give a lot of tips on how to plan your journey, which shops to visit etc. Parking is available on property and a restaurant as well. When we visited the nights got quite cold, but the blankets provided kept us warm. They offered to provide multiple blankets on request. Definitely book your stay here if your visit to Shillong will be short and you would be spending more time visiting and travelling to other places like Mawlynnong, Cherrapunjee etc. This falls midway on the major routes.

We booked this just for a night, on our way back to Shillong, and probably this was one of the best hotels we've stayed in during our trip to Meghalaya. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The entire location, and the surrounding inside the compound was picturesque, and worthy of the money. The staffs were really humble and helpful. We checked in really late, and also checked out quite early, and the staffs were really cooperative with us.

Silver Brook Resort in Mylliem Upper Shillong is an awesome place. It's a small little place with a swimming pool,a fire place, a lush green lawn and a wooden interior. The food too was delicious.

Silver Brook is conveniently located on the the highway connecting Cherrapunji and upper Shillong. So it is away from the hustle bustle of Shillong and midway to Cherrapunji. We had a pleasant stay here. Rooms were spacious, well equipped and maintained. Washrooms were clean. They have beautiful backyard for children to play. They've also set up tents in an orderly manner. They also have constructed a beautiful campfire area. They also have a heart shaped swimming pool. The staff were very courteous and welcoming.
Be cautious of one thing, there is another hotel with the same name located in the heart of Shillong town. So be specific to mention the Oyo reference number along with the name while you navigate, or else you'll end up in Shillong town and will have to drive all the way up.

Booked this place at the last minute as we were looking for a place to spend the night on our way to Shillong from Dawki. Very nice stay. Everything looked pretty new. Food was good in taste and quantity. They had a lot of facilities like a outdoor fire pit, swimming pool etc. Seemed like a good place to spend a day or two. They have ample parking space too.

Most affordable palce for backpackers as well as tourists, the place has varieties of rooms including tents as well, fireplace is available, the restaurant is awesone so is the ambience around.

It's is a very good resort if you want to stay away from the city in serenity, staffs here are super awesome. Food in the restaurant is delicious, it's a little bit far from police Bazar around 12 kms, it's a perfect place to stay if you are planning to visit cherrapunji, sohra etc.. cabs are available in the resort at very reasonable price.

The homestay is located approx 7km far from shiliong city. The view is amazing from here. They have a good restaurant where indian and Chinese dishes available here. The lawn has tent facility basketball jumping volleyball etc. One can enjoy their coffee or rum on the wooden table at the lawn. Their service is good, toilet are clean (including geyser) without any water problem. We have taken 4 bed room that including a room heater almira 2 chairs 1 table etc.
Overall our experience is good. They also help you for booking taxi or local cab. From policebazar or taxi stand you can get local cab to homestay.

We had a very comfortable stay. Infact I like this place so much I was thinking I should make it my weekend getaway permanently. The staff and their services was very commendably satisfactory I would personally asks friends to try this place everytime they visit me here in Shillong. Silver Brook rocks👍and that's because of the hardwork and dedication of the staff and last but not the least love the food in this place. Keep up the good work guys and there is always place for improvement .

Wow this place was so beautiful, have every type of accommodation, like dorms, tents, single sharing room, double sharing rooms, Have fire bonds place, swimming pool, parking. Also one of the major thing is " it's pet friendly" wow, now a days no hotels are pet friendly, but this place is lit. When I was there I stayed in dorms, I booked it though Booking.com, if u'll book through oyo, u'll only get option to book room, but if you want to stay in tents, dorms, u got to book through booking.com, the toilets were clean. You get a bed , a soap and towel with your booking, the eating facility is there only. And food they make was also so amazing, and it's totally budget friendly. I met with 3 other people in dorms and became friends and parties there, The owner is so sweet lady. It's far from main city, but you can stay in starting as it comes in the root of cherrapunjee.

Hi.. This is a nice hotel to stay with family & friends. I have stayed for 2 nights and found its nice in all respect. I really feel more than satisfied about their hospitality. Foods are too good n very cost effective. The one thing lacking in their hotel is the variety of complementary breakfast. I should suggest the managent to arrenge pick up n droping of their guests from police bazar if it is paid service also.I rate it as 4 star.

It a lovely place to stay over a holiday. Away from busy Shillong. Close to nature. Beautiful landscape and fanatastic staff. Very friendly and have very good hospitality. Resort has a very cozy camp fire for which we reserved our evenings. Food was fantabulous. You should definitely try their soups and Thukpa.

We were a group of 6. Booked 3 tents. Tents are quite spacious. The location is atound that place where it rains all throughout the year, so comes out to be a great experience-sleeping in a tent with rain and wind lashing just outside. The staff is really courteous and professional. They might seem rude at first, but it is only professional-serious-face tgat they put up. Otherwise, they are a jolly bunch and would help you in every way possible. Good food and ambience. Definitely visit a second time.

Good place for backpackers slightly far away from the town. There is some confusion with respect to the location on Google maps though.

We had booked the tent but since it was very cold, we were given beds in dorms without any fuss.

One of the best and economical resort I have been through.... economical because initially we opted for different Oyo property...but due to certain problem from their side they upgraded to this resort and it turns out to be best because of its locations and staff members..😃
We got a chance to celebrate my birthday around bornfire and along with this resort carries unique features like tent house and swimming pool.
So if u have ever come to visit shillong try to stay in this resort if possible..☺☺

It was an excellent experience staying in a homestay. The place was cool surrounding. Very peaceful and silent. The staffs are extremely cordial, ever smiling.

I would strongly recommend anyone who is interested in homestay and would love to get pampered.

Road side location. Both Dormitory & Single rooms available. Staffs are well mannered & they make tasty breakfast n dinner too.

Don't forget to enjoy the bonfire. 🔥
