Wild Vellagavi

Wild Vellagavi is a wonderful campsite. Tents are pitched facing the Vaigai dam in the valley and Kodaikanal Hills at the back. Food provided was simple and very delicious. The dogs, cat, toad, horses add more fun to the place. The camp is surrounded by avacado, orange, lemon trees which is refreshing. One of the best campsites in western ghats which is nestled in the nature.

It's wonderful place to enjoy with frds.. awesome trekking and view points..you must visit this place atleast one time..its located 4km from vattakanal. Only the way to reach vellagavi is trek. If u go by own vehicle, you can park the vehicle at vattakanal. Don't carry more things while trek because while returning it maybe difficult to carry. Don't throw plastics inside the forest. Mr.Chitrashenan will take care of your whole trip at vellagavi. Very nice person and their family too.
