TARC Bhongir (old name Rock Climbing School)

Loved it, basic setup. One can get the tents here for overnight stay and they also arrange bonfire on request. good clean washroom and drinking water facility. Morning time one can opt for zip line or rock climbing activities with the school. Otherwise there's is a good hike to Bhuvanagiri Fort with a interesting history and good view point.

Nice maintenance.

Basic amenities are good and well maintained.

Plenty of car parking is also available.

Well trained Team is always there to help the rock climbing enthusiasts.

I had an amazing experience here. Although it was my first rappelling the support for the team made it look easypeasy.

Beautiful place to visit and enjoy the natur, and especially Rock climbing school is extraordinary,This place is not for visitors will do many activities like 300 ft Rappelling, Rock climbing, bouldering, hiking,night camping, watching films on projector what ever... If don't come bhongir you miss all this Fun and activities.

About Training

Rock Climbing School provides innovative technical and educational content to all levels of climbing community and teach best practices that improve the safety and quality. Training at Rock Climbing School will help to refine one’s traditional climbing skills through extensive hands-on field work and supervised structured practice with your instructor. We also encourage critical thinking. The specially designed courses are not only helping in developing all round personality but also increase initiative and risk taking capacity.

The rock climbing courses and training will be under the guidance of Mr. Shekhar Babu Bachinepally, the first Indian to climb Mt. Everest as an individual and recipient of Tensing Norgay National Adventure Award (at par with Arjuna Award) from president of India

Thank you very much for all your assistance for my safe Rock climbing level 1 and level 2 courses in Bhongir.I did my 300ft Rappelling and zip line.loved the hike I did and loved the camping I stayed in. The instructors were very informative, knowledgeable and fun!!.

Completed level 1 in rock climbing in this school. They tought me very well and explained each every part of climbing neatly.
Food and hospitality was superb. They also provide certificate after completion of course. Looking forward for level 2 in rock climbing.

They also provide night halting with reasonable price along with food. You also do zip lining and other climbing activity here.
