Bhuvanagiri Fort

Very beautiful view from top ...but the treking is very intense...almost 45 minutes of trekking up to the fort is there. Entry is very cheap and snacks are also allowed ...
Great place for friends to hang out. Can go in weekdays and weekends also...

Bhuvangiri has become a carafe for hill trekking. Spread over an area of 40 acres at an altitude of 500 feet, this place is very suitable for trekking. It takes about an hour to reach this hill

One of the best places to visit near hyderabad.
But be careful while searching on maps. Don't search Bhongir fort as the railways station name suggests. I did the same mistake and had to ride 200km in wrong direction.
There is no good parking space, be prepared for it. Take plenty of water and food as there will be nothing available during climbing. Opens at 10 in morning.

Its a nice tourist place, where fort built up on one stone, 500years back sardar sarvai papanna goud built this fort to rule the hyderabad state to remove the nizams sarkar. But there is no water facility there please bring your own water bottle, otherwise you will feel later. There are around 600 steps to reach the top.

This has one of the best view points. It's around 100 KMs from Hyderabad. Good trail for trekking for beginners. It has steps half way through and one point you have to walk on the hill and there is support while walking.

My suggestion is to start early and carry lots of water and snacks/energy bars. As well as carry a umbrella as it's too hot once the sun reaches the top.

After reaching the top you'll see a beautiful view of the city and lakes. Take your time seeing everything and try zip line and rappelling on the top of the hill.

A fantastic experience awaits those who enjoy trekking at this destination. The view from the top is truly remarkable and worth the effort. However, the management should focus on better maintenance of the toilets and dustbins.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FORT & FORT PHOTOS IS A LOT... So once visit it

Such a huge single stone mountain I have ever seen.From the top all trains passing through bhongir station are looking like metal snakes.
It's suggested to take sufficient amount of water while hiking.after hiking whole fort if u felt thirsty it's not that easy to come down for drinking water and climb again.
Fact I got from Local people is...the whole mountain we climbed is a single biggg stone... There are no words to describe that much huge single stone it is.

This is an awesome place for a one day trek.
It opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm.
It can be reached by car, bike, bus or train from Hyderabad.
There are 120 steps and it takes 1 and half hour to climb up and 40 mins to climb down.

Enroute there are few small structures and a lotus pond.

The fort is built on a huge rock and is a wonder to view. There are steps till the top which are introduced later by ASI.

There is no water, food or washroom facility on the top but there are clean toilets, water and food at the ticket counter.

You need to buy a ticket of ₹10 to enter the gate at the bottom.

A great view and dilapidated condition structure on the top but it is worth the visit. I had a great day

Did hiking, rappelling and zip line activities. Experience is very good.

Best place for a short hike. Very easy and very nice. Only disappointment is this place is filled up with plastic trash. But the place and the fort has amazing views up from the top. Been a month back to pickup the trash :) A nice spot for a half day hike.

20 min of trek leads to a beautiful view of the surroundings.. A good place for hike and there are some activities for rock climbing training and rapelling etc.,
Camping and training are from other agencies.historic and adventurous worth to give it a try
