Located along the main Banerji Road, just opposite the High Court. This is a government beverage liquor shop. Here is one of the places where you can local priced liquor and beer at the cheapest rate in Kerala. This is well known by locals, and usually tourists will not know about it. This note is more for tourists visiting Kerala. Opens about 10am daily up till late evening, and queue will start early in the day. You know you reached the right place when you see a constant queue of people. A bottle of beer usually costs approx 80-90 Rs. And a bottle of whiskey or brandy around Rs 500. That's much lower than having it in a bar. Just note that in Kerala, drinking in public places is not recommended, so just bring the bottles back to the room to enjoy.
