Delhi Public Library

It's nearby metro station is sarojini nagar and adjacent to sarojini nagar market, this library is very useful for students searching books and it has a seperate section for children as well. When I visited there I felt nice as the library has so many types of books plus there is computers as well for students provided they take membership. Coming to the children section it's a decent size room where kids could read books, comics and use computer for some time as well.

The Library collection is precious treasure of the Delhi Public Library. The collection consists of rich and wide range of books, journals and other reading materials in Hindi, English, Urdu, Punjabi & other Indian Languages. With an ever expanding membership, the Delhi Public Library has a collection of over 18 lakh books. The collection has a book for every reader whatever their reading taste is.Timings:
Delhi Public Library is open all seven days except the National Holidays.

Far better than other branches of Delhi Public Library .
- The staff is very cooperative .
- All the rooms have centralised AC , which sometimes do not work .
- 3 self study/reading rooms , each with a capacity of 50 seats.
- Though washrooms are mostly dirty .
- A well maintained park is there .
- Two wheelers , and a few cars can also get into the parking area .
Overall the atmosphere is good .

This place have reading room, study room, kids zone, washroom and you will use internet also but you need to get membership of this library

Very large library I have never see this type of library

Library is open for issue and return of books all days of the week. But on Sunday timming is a little different. Good place having reading room, separate reference room and for issuing books it is located on the first floor. There is a separate room on first floor for children's books. Keep distance stay safe.
Update : Membership rules have changed a bit. Now membership is annual based. People already enrolled will have to get new card generated.
Also free membership campaign is going on until 31st May 2022(dates might change you can visit there and look for the notice board for any updates or many updates can be seen through their website also)

Best place for bookish people.
Also there is reading rooms available.

It is a very good library for everyone, especially for competitive exams students . It is fully air conditioned and membership fee for each month is 200/- for self study and 100rs is for library card for the whole year. It is just 200m away from sarojini metro station

best place for government jobs aspirants. Large number of books collections in all field. small computer lab also there. Staff behavior good. Self study room also there , but you have to come early to book your seat. Activity rooms also available for children,s. small garden area and sitting benches also available there .If you want to break from continuous study, go to market area and refresh your mind . Many eating points is there. overall good place for study.

Very good place to study and lots of books available for reading. The staff is very cordial and helpful. Good place for book lovers. But the study room has quite a rush. Also membership is quite cheap. Has many books in reference section and also an internet access for people. Children section is also there and many events take place. Overall good place.

This place is amazing, Air conditioned, provides a huge variety of Different books of different genre, but not updated very frequently.. have mostly historical books and the books written in earlier times.. The faculty of Librarians are helpful and genuine. Pretty wall art at the entrance makes it a thing worth getting a photo at ! ❤

Cool library with advance facilities & variety of books

This library is one of the best government library in delhi, with low membership fee and best facilities like wifi, computer, c.ds record and books obviously.

We can reach to this place by metro, bus, auto and other own vehicle as there is enough parking space.

DPL is a national dipositary library total 35- 37 branches across the state

Very nicely maintained, clean and silent place. I went there with my family and bought 10 - 12 books.
