Casa Susegad

Casa Susegad was the high point of our recent month’s stay in Goa and Kerala. Norman and Carole are very positive people who have done a great job on their lovely old Portuguese house. The colours, the furniture and the grounds are gorgeous and they and their staff know how to make their guests feel welcome and appreciated. Their garden is a great birdwatching location as is the gorgeous nearby ‘lake’ which Norman took us to early one morning. We really hope to return before too long.

We had a wonderful 3 days at Casa Susegad as guests of Norman and Carol. This is a real homestay in a lovingly restored old Portuguese home where you're part of the family which extends to the staff, other guests, dogs, cat and kittens. Carol took us to the markets at Margoa and Norman was ready with a G&T or morning pot of tea. Casa Susegad is as colourful as our hosts were warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

It's nestled inside the village of Loutolim. My friends and I had a great time with complete privacy. The pool was clean and pretty big.

An fantastic 1st time experience at a goan Ancient property villa with a pool.. a 5 bed room villa with kitchen & staff... perfect place for a mini family getaway.. loved the decor, the hospitality, the food cooked, all this in a lush green quiet area of Loutolim.

Friendly, homely. Amazing food. Great rooms. Hosts are welcoming, the staff are treated as family. Attentive to guests. Really relaxing. Good local knowledge.

Not only is this place great luxury in the middle of lush nature, but the hosts are wonderful. Fantastic place to relax and feel pampered for a few days on your journey.
