Nice place to visit.
They also provide accomodation for tourists.
Temple area was neat and clean when we visited.
There is no dedicated parking. You have to park your vehicle at road side.
Overall nice experience.

As like in the name shantadurga... kalm roop of maa durga temple. Surrounding of trees n forests very peaceful. Along with devi narayan swami temple also there... for lunch dinner n breakfast canteen inside temple providing free tasty meal

A beautiful Hindu temple in lovely Goa!! We had a meal at its modest canteen after darshan and loved the taste. Though one may not need it most of the time, we had to wait for about 25 minutes for the gates of the sanctum sanctorum to open because they are closed for rituals by the priests around 1 pm every day.

Beautiful temple. Surrounded by greenery and hills.
Very neat and clean. It has a large courtyard and a water body.
It was not crowded on Sunday when I went there.
It has a nice canteen. It serves delicious food at very reasonable rate. Must visit place.

This is a beautiful temple of Mata shantadurga. A powerful goddess and mother of universe. You can feel a high spiritual feelings here which will make your mind and body so calm.

We visited during the time of Navaratri. This is the Home God of kurdekar, Kudtarkar, and other Shet Families of Daivadyna Brahmin Caste and others too. We often visit temple and must visit temple in South Goa.
You will get rooms to stay in the temple and food is also available in temple canteen.
Also it is situated on the edge of Khushavati River

Shantadurga temple is really beautiful. You will able to see mixture of Portuguese and Hindu culture in construction. Full dress is must, shorts are not allowed. But if you are wearing shorts, they will provide you "Lungi" to visit inside the temple.

A totally memorable experience. The surroundings were serene and the rains made it more stunning. Peaceful place one can go and visit this temple located in South Goa. The temple is maintained excellently. Kindly remember that shorts are not allowed here, but you can get lungi outside the temple which you can wear.

This temple is a must visit when in South Goa. Very serene and peaceful temple. One can just spend time here admiring the grand architecture of this temple.

Visited during Goa visit. Has a calm atmosphere and is revered highly as one of the Hindu temples in Goa. Prominent tourist place with dress code for visiting the main premises. Idol of Shantadurga is shown as holding two serpents, one in each hand, representing Vishnu and Shiva. Has stay arrangement in vicinity. No tickets are required for Darshan

Unique architecture for a temple, this place. Situated with small hills making a background this place cake up when Goa was reeling under Portuguese occupation. Very clean, the place has a spiritual feeling to it. With a water tank feature in front, open lawn and masonary quarters on one side and hills in backdrop, the place exudes beauty with its structure. When we visited in September, no rush was there but we were told during Navratras and special occasions it attracts lacs of the faithful. It must be as evident from the infrastructure and the way they have kept the pathways for pilgrims organised.

A visit during rains is a totally memorable experience. The temple looks even more beautiful during the monsoon, sorrounded by very lush greenery and hills. The temple and premises are maintained in excellent condition! We had a great darshan and the feeling of peace and a superior power is indescribable
It was not crowded on Friday, This is a must visit place for devotees.

This Shantadurga temple is built by Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj after the original Shantadurga temple in Quortelim was destroyed by The Portguese.

You must visit Goa for Temples and not only for beach, Pub etc.

You feel energetic by visiting all Goan temples.

Temple is located amidst lush greenary and as name suggests temple is calm and peaceful. Diety is very calm and beautiful too.

Parking is bit difficult here and plenty of shoos are available to quench thirst and hunger.

What an amazing Mandir with Indo Portuguese architecture, special mention for the office bearers for maintaining the premises so nicely.

Beautiful and peaceful darshan...surely visit if visiting temples in goa
