Bamboo Yoga Retreat

The perfect yoga holiday in Paradise! The location is spectacular, overlooking a beautiful quiet bay, the facilities are super comfortable and charming, the staff could not be more helpful and nice! The yoga is blissfull, overlooking the ocean, by different teachers that are all brilliant and the food absolutely delicious , Indian vegetarian with loads of variety and fresh local produce. Only thing to check is if there is a noisy “yoga retreat” on at the same moment…can’t wait to come back!

I’ve just spent the most wonderful 10 days here at Bamboo. My second visit here and it met more than my expectations. Location is stunning, accommodation is lovely and the food amazing. The quality of the yoga here is just incredible and the staff are so helpful and courteous. I highly recommended this resort and will be returning for sure.

A slice of paradise in South Goa :) I previously stayed with Bamboo at Patnem, and was a little sceptical about the new location as its on a much quieter and smaller beach. However, upon arrival, we quickly realised it was the PERFECT location for a super chill yoga holiday. Gorgeous rooms, amazing friendly staff and great food. I recommend to anyone looking for an idyllic India beach escape.

If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and park yourself up on a relatively quiet beach with your yoga schedule and food chosen for you so you no longer need to use that part of your brain them this is your kind of place!

I stayed around 15/16 days over the Christmas and new year period. Some really nice touches made everything perfect (dedicated yoga mats and a sarong for the beach)

Rooms were cleaned along with fresh towels upon request and were always completed quickly, laundry dropped off in the morning is dropped of just in time to get changed for dinner! (laundry is done next door)

The rescued dogs are really well looked after and well manered so you will feel safe around them and Jimmy the beach dog who isn't part of the Bamboo tribe but naturally just invited himself as a guest who never left, will assist you on your morning walk as he's taken personal responsibility for your safety ;)

I'm absolutely at the beginner level of Yogi experience and I never felt out of place, there were a variety of guests from people like me right up to Yoga teachers on their own holiday.

Huge compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff the food was absolutely amazing!

Huge shout out to Ansh too, the driver, I had him for an airport run and drop off/pick up to Patnem and another journey and he's always friendly and easy to talk to!

I have just completed my wonderful stay at Bamboo yoga. This retreat is by far the most luxurious retreat in South Goa, and in the best location.

The vegetarian food is of a very high standard and plentiful. The teachers are very professional and can work with you on any level, and the staff cannot do enough for you. The air conditioned huts are beautiful and comfortable ( great mattress and pillows ), and I absolutely loved the outdoor bathrooms.

The beach is pretty much exclusive to Bamboo, with extra comfy sun loungers.

I highly recommend this place! If you’ve read this far you need to book now..

We had an amazing stay at Bamboo, a true slice of paradise on a quiet and secluded beach. The cottages were really comfortable and thoughtfully designed and the hospitality was fantastic. The vegetarian food was exceptional. Thanks to the team for making our stay such a memorable experience.

We absolutely loved this wonderful place! The beach huts are amazing with lovely outdoor showers and great attention to detail. The beds are super comfy as are the pillows.
Pollem is one of the prettiest beaches in Goa and you pretty much have the whole thing just for the Bamboo guests.
The food was really good and the kind and efficient staff were always on hand if needed.
We only stayed one night but I wish we could have stayed longer it’s a place out of time.

In case you are currently surfing the web, searching for a Yoga Retreat in Goa - you can now stop: because you will not find any better place than Bamboo. From the moment I arrived, i couldn't believe how beautiful this place is. Bamboo is located at this beautiful beach, embedded in nature - nothing else around than just the beauty of the ocean, the palm trees, the huts and employees of bamboo.

If you are searching for a relaxed time, with great Yoga and amazing food - you just arrived in heaven at bamboo. The huts are really comfy with an amazing outdoor bathroom. I traveled here alone, but never felt alone for one second. The age average was around 50 when I was here. I am 34 years old, however enjoyed the amazing company of all these inspiring people around. In case you want to do shopping, patnem and palolem beach is around a 20 min car drive which cost around 10dollars one way (mostly you find someone to share with).

If you want to do a lot of Party and have more of a "Goa experience" with only little Yoga, maybe a location directly at patnem beach is more suitable for you. But in case you want to unwind and want to do something for your body and mind, I would definetly highly recommend to stay at bamboo. Just give it a try, i am sure you will not regret it.

I also want to point out the amazing staff of bamboo. Susanne was so helpful even before I arrived, so I felt safe and welcomed the whole booking process.

From the moment I arrived, Dil took care of everything. He is such a character and bringing so much joy and good vibes at bamboo. Never experienced such an amazing and caring (and funny :-)) employee like him. He is there all day long - and night- to help and to chat with his unique way of doing it ;-) He is one of many beautiful souls that are working here - including of course also the Yoga teachers.

So to sum up: If you want to do a Yoga retreat, this is the place to be!

The staff were a delight and the yoga classes amazing!
I can't compliment the instructors Myria and Prianca enough as I felt fully recharged both mentally and physically after my time at Bamboo Yoga.
It was great to experience different types of yoga daily so there was plenty of variety, and the views from the Shala are by far the best in Patnem.

I stayed at Bamboo for 10 days on a Yoga holiday. I had an amazing time. The yoga teachers are incredible, really great classes and an empowering atmosphere. The staff is kind, always smiling and helping wherever they can. I would definitely recommend this place and come back! Thank you!

An absolutely delightful retreat right on the beach with charming bamboo and wood ensuite cabins, comfy beds and a shala overlooking the lapping sea. Wonderful staff team who make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. One of the loveliest coved beaches in Goa. Book your stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Rustic and uplifting. The hospitality is attentive and superb. There's a fantastic, often not too crowded view of the beach from the restaurant. It is as blissful as anything I have experienced.

Amazing place to relax!

The place is amazing and yoga classes are great. The huts are very simple but have everything you need and it’s very clean. The staff is very friendly.

My favorite place for Yoga. This place is awesome. Staff is good and friendly. Food is outstanding. Bamboo retreat's management is too good. And Myria, yoga guru is the best, I learnt so much from her. I am planning for a one more visit soon to this place.
