Shikara Beach Resort

First time staying here, the accommodation is ideal for us with a nice light breakfast, short walk to the beach, 24 hour reception with secure safe deposit system in place. Rooms are kept clean and tidy. Two swimming pools on the complex which are kept clean, but not too many beds around the pools.

For the starters staff is good and accommodation is spacious. The building is bit old with some issues with fixtures but overall things are fine.
Food service was really slow but one always have option to have food at restaurants at walking distance.

This is a 3-star resort, Google incorrectly shows it as 2-star.
The location is right near the beach and their property is quite good.
Room was big and spacious.
Overall it was a nice experiencing staying there for 2 days. Great value for money.

Had an incredible stay at this peaceful Shikara beach resort! The staff, especially Sarfaraz, the room service guy Jayson, was extremely supportive and attentive. I forgot some of my clothes but Sarfaraz kept my clothes packed well and called me. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

A decent place . The resort is closer to cavelossim beach approx 200 mts and has access to very good restaurants and supermarkets. We stayed for 4 days , breakfast was complementary and it was worth the money. The swimming pool is very clean and tidy.

Budget friendly option if you are looking for resorts in Cavelossim. Great location. Good rooms. Good service. You have River Sal on one side and Cavelossim beach on the other.
AC wasn't functioning in one room so they changed our rooms.
Good friendly managers and support staff.
Great restaurants within 2kms radius.
Only downside is breakfast buffet. Can be way better that that.

Best place to stay and had an amazing experience. Very near to Cavelossim and Varca beach. Special thanks to Sandeep for his quick responsiveness and politeness. Room is good and very near to hotels/Restaurants (Robins Ark, Mikes place) etc. If you are looking for a budget friendly beach resort, you can always prefer Shikara beach resort.

Great place to stay, adjoining river and very close by to the beach. So many awesome places nearby to have local food and a supermarket, medical store also. One of the attendant Jayson helped us a lot and guided us to explore lots of great places.

Loved the hotel, clean.
Staff is nice, Breakfast was amazing.
Rooms are good, location is good too.
If someone wants to stay, feel free to book the hotel. You are in safe hand.

I'll admit... I was surprised at how nice our stay was here. We just missed the Studio Villa and ended up taking the Standard Room. I think I would just go with the standard the next time too.

Highlights
- Proximity: 5 mins to the beach and just as close to some great restaurants
- The room itself: Larger than we expected and pretty clean. I personally loved the old school feel.
- Pretty big veranda, looks out onto a road but your view is great because of all the plants
- The small pool: Yes it has bugs... But what do you expect when you're surrounded by trees!!
- The back yard River: The hotel is actually leased space from a gated community, and a few minutes walk will have you next to a river for sunrise
- The free breakfast makes mornings very easy

Tips:
- Try and get to the river for sunrise... It's so, worth it
- If you're like me and don't like too much sun, use the small pool between 3pm and 5pm
- Check the switches and facilities before you take the room...e.g. One of the bathroom lights in our room wasn't working (it's not a deal breaker...it makes sense to check everything in the room first)
- If you are mosquito prone like me... Be Prepared! The property is really green, so naturally there are a lot of mosquitoes
- If you need groceries, there's a store in the same complex

I had a great stay in one of their delux rooms. Good room service. Rooms are well maintained. Healthy and tasty breakfast. Some rooms have a very good view from their balcony. It has two swimming pools and a river near by. Beach is just 5 minutes away. I would recommend this.

Great location. 4-5 mins away from beach. We stayed in a family suite, had a sea view from balcony✌. Spacious rooms. Swimming pool was decent and well maintained. Breakfast spread was regular nothing fancy. Live counter for dosa & Omlettes✌

Amazing stay in these comfy rooms... pool is.clean and open till 7pm. The.morning breakfast is good. Staff are very helpful.

Absolute peaceful place. A serene environment for you to relax a bit let the sun set while you chill. Jason, the guy who helped us with all the luggage and queries we had about hotel as well the surrounding places, was very helpful and informative. You'd be amazed by the services as well as the amenities. It is clean. Had a good experience.

Shikara Beach Resort in Cavelossim Goa is situated in a relatively less crowded area away from all the hustle and bustle. The property itself is well maintained , with excellent , clean and neat rooms . We stayed there for 2 days and 2 nights and it was an unforgettable experience. Totally enjoyed my stay. Hospitality was excellent and unparalleled, the resort manager Mr.Jason was a very nice and sweet person who made sure we were comfortable during our stay as was the resort owner Mr.Sharma. Hats off to them.
The breakfast and dinner served was very tasty and scrumptious and of excellent quality. Also is an attached Coffee Shop Cafe Coffee Milano where you get excellent Coffee and Pastries. I had a cup of Cappuccino which was amazing. Do try them while you're there.
There is River Sal flowing behind the resort which is very picturesque and offers boating. There is Cavelossim beach in about 200 meters from the resort which is very clean and less crowded . It's more like a private beach. Overall , a very nice place to kick back and relax. I would definitely go there again . Highly recommended.
Room Tip: Choose the Deluxe Rooms or a 4 Bedroom Villa . They are very modern with a lot of amenities.

Very nice property , clean and hygienic hotel, very nice staff, Away from hustle bustle of public, beach is just across the road, Back waters is accessible from inside the premises, just a bit walk. Would definitely recommend this property to everyone who wants peace and a joyful vacation

The rooms are very spacious and clean. It is very close to the cavolessim beach, just street across. They share swimming and garden property of lusia by the sea, which is very beautiful. They have great restaurants near and a supermarket is also very near to the location. The service was very nice, nice ppl. They made us customised yummy breakfast immediately. It is definitely worth the price stay!!

While booking I was soo happy because looking wise its amazing. Then I saw some reviews and it was dam bad. Then I went and I am soo happy after that. All clean rooms, washroom are very neat and clean. All persons behaviour was very good. Very nice and clam place. Please visit. I'll give 10 out of 5 rating.
