Gir Lion Safari Camp

I have come to Gir Lion Safari camp with my wife to celebrate her birthday. I am staying here from last 3 days and so far our stay is amazing. The location is very nice as it is close to the river where we could watch crocodiles. The staff is very friendly and food is also delicious. If you are looking for a place which is calm and peaceful then you must visit this place .

Excellent stay. One of the best. Enjoyed every moment here. The staff is just too good and understand hospitality. Food excellent and support staff is also very good. Recommend every one to atleast visit once.

Superbly set resort in Gir forest in the midst of nature. Excellent rooms with all standard amenities set in tent concept. Good food options well prepared and easy on stomach.

Mr Ram is gem of a person and service by him is exceptional. This property is must visit for extra ordinary food, comfort and hospitality.

Had a good stay, staff was friendly, restaurant had delicious vegetarian options. You can also view some crocodiles in hiren river.

If you are going for Lion Safary, this is the place to stay. Excellent resort with good service staff. Punjabi Food is good. They provide full breakfast which was very good.

We are one of the most loyal guests of this Amazing resort Gir Lion Safari Camp. I and my family we are visiting your resort since year 2005. This is my 5th visit. Excellent service , each one truly customer focused and attentive, the boys, the lady at the reception, the chef and Mrr,Lal the Manager, amazing place.

It was the most dramatic experience if I start from the beginning. As we took the turn to the hotel road, i thought my trip was going to be a disaster. The road was too bad and it was leading us nowhere. There was no sign, which way to take. As soon as we reached the place and opened the room, it was joyful.

The entire experience is amazing. The room was too good and spacious (if you have booked a suite)

Best things about the hotel:
1. Staff is helpful and cheerful.
2. The place is so beautiful.
3. The location is beautiful.
4. After reaching it feels the road does the justice to reach this place, you get the forest feel.
5. It is near to the safari place.
6. Food is amazing. They provide buffet service all time and àl-carte too.
7. They do have cultural performances planned in the evening along with a bonfire.
8. If you are leaving early for the safari, they will provide sandwiches(light breakfast) if you ask so.

Just gave 4 star for the service as:

1. The room was cleaned but if the coffee sachets are over, they won't refill, you have to ask for it.
2. The used spoons in the room are not replaced with new and cleaned one and kept as it is after making the room.
3. AC was not working twice We had to ask for the service. It should be done before giving it to the guest.
4. The play area is no good as after the safari you want to relax, it is not worth visiting.

Had nice staying experience. Food was tasty.

Rooms and location gives forest vibes with compact and cozy tent rooms in the middle of the forest by riverside. They have a trekking route nearby where you see crocodiles at the end of the river. Overall there is nature walk, quiet ambience and calm surroundings. Great value. Highly recommend

Place located in deep forest, both roads leading to this resort will give an experience Off-Roading. Very quite peaceful place to spend some time with family & friends. They have very good quality luxury tents also they serve tasty meals. Worth visiting again.

Best resort with a real jungle feel! The location is a bit remote, but that's what the vibe is for!

We booked three cottages for 2 nights. They provided the best services. Rooms are of decent size with all amenities. Swimming pool was fun! The food was just delicious. Hats off to their chef. He even managed to prepare the best Gujarati/Kathiyawadi food on special request besides the usual mouth-watering Punjabi dishes! The restaurant staff knows how to provide the best customer service. Special thanks to D K Singh and Riju!

Also, the Gir safari pickup location is just 10-15 mins away.

I will strongly recommend this resort.

One suggestion to the management: The signboards with directions will help.

This is good resort near sasan. It's remote location near sasan. You can not move around resort at night.

Lovely place located in Sasan Gir offering total seclusion from the city din along with a comfortable/luxurious stay.
The resort is beautifully designed inside a Mango Grove and the rooms are equipped with all modern amenities and the interiors are done tastefully.
The staff are polite and hospitable and they'll at times go out of their ways to make your stay memorable
