Absolutely lip smacking food is served here. The owner was super sweet to invite us for lunch, even though we went at almost closing time. The food is traditional kathiyawadi and it won't disappoint you at all. Wish we had food there atleast one more time!!!!! One lunch was simply not enough. The settings are simple there
No drama. AC and fans are both there for a relaxed dining experience, especially in the heat. It's a self serve unlimited food style . You are served with different types of sabjis, dal, pickles, roti , bhakri and rice. There's gur and makkhan for the hot hot rotlos (bhakri). The highlight is everything plus the chaas that comes in this giant kalash. (No pun intended)
You can't have enough of the delicious food here. Even tho it's self serve, the staff keeps serving you nonstop...they actually pay attention to your comfort. Would recommend this to everyone who visits GIR for some real good local amazing food!!!!

We had lunch at Kalash restaurant after Sasan gir safari . We ordered kaju masala , roti and veg biryani. It’s really good in taste .

Food here was very very tasty, starting from pickle to buttermilk everything was so yummm. Place was clean and food was freshly cooked. They serve 4 Kathiyawadi sabji(super yummy),Rotla/Rotli,Kadhi Khcihadi, Salad, Papad, Buttermilk, Pickles, fresh butter, Jaggery... unlimited in just 150rs, we liked their food so much and decided to have our breakfast there only and bf was equally delicious, we have ordered almost everything whatever they had to offer-Aloo paratha, Bhajiya, Fafda, French Fries, Thepla, Chai and 8 of us had our breakfast in just 1000rs without compromising on quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Food is excellent. Specially Kathiyawadi dish. Service is remarkable. As its located on within jungle area. You will have a chance to see wild animal.

One of the best food I ever had in sasan. My favourite was Sev tameta. You must try during lunch. They also serve dinner with different menu too. Must try both.

Taste of food is really good, rotis were very soft. Buttermilk was good. Aamras was the best, it is a must try at this place. The price was very reasonable and taste was good, so I will recommend this place when you visit Sasan Gir.

Amazing food & amazing customer service. The place is one of a kind around this area. We had lunch here & then went to Gir safari, came back here to have dinner. The food was delicious both the times & the staff feeds you with pleasure, it isn’t just business for them & that is clearly visible. We had punjabi for lunch which was amazing, & gujarati thali for dinner which was fabulous.
I’d say that food here is probably the best & you should dine in here definitely if you going for Gir safari.
You definitely have a customer for lifetime here & I’ll be recommending my friends & family to visit here everytime they are in Sasan Gir.

The owners and staff are very kind and welcoming people and they serve food in the manner as if you are just at home. They also catered for our Swaminarayan requirements of No Onion No Garlic.

I am currently standing here at this restaurant and I literally wasn't able to hold myself to write an wonderful and genuine review about this place .

First off , the food was excellent and the best for the so called ' authentic kathiyavadi's ' .
Other than that , you can also purchase pickles and jars of honey 🍯 .

Now , the hospitality was astonishing 😊 , the service was very accurate and they won't leave you waiting until you are done ...

To be honest , it was flooded with people during afternoon , so it's obvious that it's a recommendation for you ...

Very nice food… Taste like a home’s food… here best option is fix rate Dish so one can have all variety of food even though a solo traveller…!!!

Atmosphere here is authentic. Staff kept on bringing piping hot kathiyawadi food which was delicious. I wish I had more room in my stomach for this yummy food. Even my 2 year a d 5 year old loved the food.
