Peaceful place, as of now not many people visiting so it's clean and nice. People are good and nice to talk and give instructions. View is amazing from. Not too much steep except a few area but you will enjoy the visit. Definitely go to place if visiting Maa pitambara Datiya, it is hardly 15 kms.

If you are really looking for peace then you should definitely visit this place. There are group of temples and each one has its own significance.

You can come here and spend some quality time, doing meditation.

There was no cost or ticket price here. It’s in a small hill in MP.

A total of 77 jain temples are there on the mountain. Many Dharmshala's to stay beneath the hill and around 28 temples in each dharmshala's.

Very calm and mesmerizing place.

Recommend to visit this place in the monsoon or winter time. Because of too much hotness after walking on the hill towards each temple.

One of the most beautiful Jain temples. This is a fantastic site to visit, especially during the monsoon season with so many peacocks and bird melodies, the environment is calm and peaceful. This is a holy and peaceful place. A wonderful location where every single thing is holy. Lord Chandraprabhu is the most notable person associated with this location.
This is a must-see location, as the air is quite relaxing. One of Jain's most popular pilgrimages.

With a sense of spirituality spreading all across the town and the stunning architecture of the Jain temples reflecting the rich heritage, Sonagiri is a place to spend some quality time in Madhya Pradesh, and to soak in its true essence. Sonagiri has at least a hundred Jain temples, small and big and with excellent architecture, scattered all around the town, all of which are top-rated destinations among Jain monks and devotees.

If you translate Sonagiri to English, it stands for ‘The Mountain of Gold’ or ‘The Golden Peak. But the town of Sonagiri, located 60 kilometres away from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, is neither a mountain nor is it famous for gold. What it is well known for is a rich heritage of Jainism and numerous shrines to speak for its legacy. Sonagiri might not be one of those places which you will find in big bold letters in every itinerary. It is also not a place where you can expect an endless list of attractions. However, Sonagiri is something very special and unique in itself.

Sonagir or Sonagiri that literally means 'golden hill' is a hill dotted with white Jain temples about 15 kms from Datia town and attracts attention from quite a distance. It is a sacred place for Digambar Jain sect and is associated with the 8th Tirthankar Chandraprabha. There are 77 temples dedicated to the various Tirthankars and many of them belong to 9th -10th century.
A majority of the Jain holy places are located in the hills and they are oasis of absolute peace & tranquility. Sonagiri is no different. A climb up the hill last evening was an exhilarating experience. There is an ancient temple at the base which has a collection of some priceless statues made in sphatik & jade. The glass inlay work in the sanctum is amazing and has earned this temple the name 'Kanch ka Mandir'.

A visit to their holy temples always act as a soothing balm and give solace to the mind & the soul

One of the very nice place ie #JainTeerth place.
These beautiful temples are located on a hill with sequence from 1-108.
The place is located 4-4.5 km away from Sonagiri Railway station.
Leather products ie belt/wallet is prohibited.

When take entry, the series of temple starts with unique names (As per Muni/Nath).

They're located on both side. Parallel you can see lovely mini forest views with lots of birds & listen varieties of bird sounds.

In addition to that, there are many lovely trees. The climbing way is full concrete & finished with tiles.
Most incredible & very nice part, very clean area, the more you go up, you gonna see all series of temples located from the sequence.

All temple colors are white & many other statues are also located on side of temples.

Such a lovely place to visit.
