Shitala Mata Mandir

Best place to visit to goddess SHITLA MATA. and city's outskirt place to feel gwaliorness and touch the feeling of worship of mata.

The place is well maintained and holds a high value in devotees. During Navratri the devotees come from near and far for Darshan.

The parking area is just outside the entry gate with no charges, many small shops are there starting from outset gate up to inner entrance of the temple. This visit of mine was after almost a decade and I can see the improve Cleanliness and hygiene being maintained.

At night it looks very beautiful

Jai Shitla Maai ki...very beautiful place. Very crowded specially in Navratri, however arrangements of controlling crowed is excellent.

Must visit place in gwalior. It is around 15 to 20 km away from main city. Quite place. roads are in good condition to reach there.
It is an ancient temple. Lots of places near to this temple for photography.
You will not get any restaurent or coffee shop near to this temple . It is actually situated in village. During navratri special functions is done by lots of devotee. And u will find huge rush during navratri.

Goddess Shitla choose the mountain for her saadhna (meditation) and later the temple was constructed. A sub temple of Lord Hanuman is also built inside the temple by my late grandfather Shri. Hakim Singh Gurjar (Shitla Bus Service).
It is usually very crowded on Moday and in Navratri/Naudurga.

It is nice place to worship. It have full of nature and in between hills.
