The view of this Temple is really good and it's close to the Gwalior fort too.

I feel this temple is a peace spot where one can forget about the past & future and live in the current moments.

The divine temple takes you an era of १८०० century. The murals paintings rare to see any temple but it sustain them beautifully. Wall and ceiling is full of God figures and stories of lord shiva divine tales. If you ever visit gwalior. Must offer your prayers to Shiva.. The shivalinga here is very powerful. Atleast १०० of small lingam erect on main big shiva lingam and protected by १००० of serpents.. In past history the temple Once located on the fort premises located just walking distance. Where it was thrown on plain by mughal invaders. After 150 years of abandoned a saint found this shivalinga and make new temple to install the lingam and than it worship here from that time..

I visited there and very good place for pray to God and Specially Bholenath Lord Shiva, And you can just sit there and many senior citizens will meet you there and they were sitting with friends and laugh. Overall good place Har Har Mahadev🙏

It's a wonderful place to visit in Gwalior spacious, good parking facilities, nearby fruit and vegetable markets. Temple has good yard, corridors and it's Shiva temple moon on the top of the temple looks very beautiful. there is no dirt, that very clean Om Namah Shivaya

A very nice temple situated near Gwalior fort. Must visit and see some very old and historic statues of Lord Shiva and other God and Goddess.
This place becomes very crowdy during Shivratri festival. Nearby Gunjri mahal is also located so In One Go, Anyone can visit Fort, temple and Gunjri mahal too.

Koteshwar temple one of the famous shiv temple in Gwalior there are lots of people came from out side to visit shiv temple at shivratri u have to come here at least once a year to take blessings of Lord Shiva
