I had an amazing trip to Barren Island with Andaman Aquaholics! We saw a lot of dolphins and the experience was unforgettable. Snorkelling near the volcano and fishing were incredible activities. Every penny spent was worth it. Thanks to Ajit Bhaiya, our host, who made us feel incredibly comfortable throughout the trip. By the end, it felt like I was traveling with family, even though I was a solo traveler. Highly recommended! 🌋🐬🎣😊

This is an extremely overdue post. We had an extremely phenomenal time with Ajit and crew at Aquaholics. How can one sum up a day of spectacular snorkeling at south button, catching a massive tuna fish, seeing dolphins in the wild, having Long Beach to oneself, sighting sting rays, jumping off boats all in a day. Well if you can imagine that. Imagine more. Super grateful to Ajit for being super patient with our rambunctious family and taking some spectacular pictures of our memories too. I went to Barren Island with Ajit and his team on 10 November 2023.

The excursion generally goes out only on Tuesdays, but Ajit went out of his way and made sure that we got to experience this beautiful day.

The service was exceptional!

The boat was super clean, plenty food and beverages were provided, SOPs in place for everything, the staff was very attentive and cognizant of every little need, and a lot of attention was given to smaller details.

A truly outstanding experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking top-notch service.

Wanna feel the same emotions when you were shown the island of Jurassic Park for the very first time on the big screen? As you edge nearer, the silhouette of the barren island clears up to a 350m tall stratovolcano with black billowy smoke gushing out, and you are reminded of the Jurassic Park scene.

An exclusive and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everyone who is in the Andamans should go to Barren Island as it offers probably the clearest waters of India to snorkel amidst the densest coral reef, underwater cave, big game fishing, black sand beaches, basalt columns and 1000m drops.

Ajit and his team always offer the best service possible, and cater to every whims of every individual, be it a professional bird photographer chasing a black-naped tern, a senior angler eyeing for a gigantic yellow-fin tuna fish, or even in my case an injured person who had an accident the day before the trip in Havelock, but still ended up free-diving with Ajit in the coral garden. Great experience.

Incredible experience with this team.
We had the chance to spend a full day from sunrise to sunset on the boat to visit Barren Island. That was awsome to see an active Vulcain on the sea.
We also enjoyed diving on this beautiful place.
Everything was perfect (Boat in very good condition / Safety )

I went to Barren Island with Andaman Aquaholics in November 2023 and I must say, it was an incredible experience.

The excursion usually goes out only on Tuesdays, but Aajit went out of his way and made sure that we got to experience this beautiful day on a Friday.

The trip to Barren Island itself was a once in a lifetime experience with a gorgeous sunrise, exceptional views, dolphins on the way, some incredibly breathtaking underwater life with great visibility from the surface itself, and amazing weather, and a manta ray that came to say bye as we were departing.

As far as the service goes, it was exceptional and exceeded all our expectations!

Amazing Experience. Capt. Ajit and his entire team is amazing. We had planned for a visit to the Barren Island with the team but with choppy seas the plan was changed to visit 3 islands - Button, Guitar and Long Island. It was an absolute fun day on the boat and water with snorkeling, some local food at Long Island and beautiful views all day long. Capt Ajit and his team were extremely courteous and helpful and were guiding our group for an incredible snorkeling and overall experience. The team was always there helping/guiding us during the entire tour. I very highly recommend this group for trips, fishing and snorkeling experiences while in Andaman. Cant wait to be back for the Barren Island trip.

We had chartered a boat with them for two days to go to South Button and Barren and Long islands . We were super happy with quality of boat and the crew was warm and friendly and looked after everything we could possibly need . The snorkeling was amazing , the coral , the sea life … the experience remains really one of my best ever . Love Andamans and thanks to Ajit and team we have had a fab fab time . Only feedback they need to work on is having more knowledge on the different sea lives we spot.

A trip to Barren was definitely my best day adventure. Also, it’s a great boat with lots of room and is really fast. We saw dolphins, mantas, sharks and so much more at the 3 snorkelling spots around the active volcano with visibility of about 50mts! ( the clearest water I have ever seen). The volcano itself is just too mesmerising.
If you are in to fishing, this place is a paradise from giant barracudas, GTS to Yellow fin Tunas - jigging popping, trolling, they have state of art equipment and are great anglers. Though our group wanted to just snorkel more and see fishes than to catch them, I did catch one medium Baracuda ( and released it ) :p

Lastly, the best thing about the trip was that we 10 people were the only ones on the island for the whole day. How cool is that!

So long story short- DO NOT MISS BARREN if you go to Andamans, it’s world class !

Best experience in Andaman! No doubt at all Barren is one of the most amazing island Andaman. Marine life is amazing, crazy water visibility. Can’t overcome from today’s trip what a day at Barren island. Don’t miss the chance if you get to go Barren Island

It was an breathtaking experience, we enjoyed to our fullest. Fishing, Scuba diving was the best thing we have done. The Real natural beauty. Thank you Andaman Aquaholics to provide us with all best amenities. :)

We didn't really think about doing a boat cruise until seeing their beautiful boat go by. The looks of the boat caught our attention! Called the next day and unfortunately that one was booked for the day but Binu was very helpful about telling us what was available for the rest of the week. We decided on the half day cruise and it was not a disappointment! Not only did we see a few dolphins but we also got to catch a few GTs. Will definitely do another fishing trip with them the next time we are in Havelock.

No doubt, in including this, in one of my best trip. Awesome atmosphere great experience. Had a blast, Food, stay everything was great as per the availability. Last but not least, the crew boys were very helpful 100%. Thanks andaman aquaholic.👍🎣

The chillest crew and most helpful one. The boat was well maintained and we had the fun of our lives. Must recommended!!

It was very good trip we had even this time, we had target on marlin fishing and we were successful ,all members including boat crew, captain and even aber porp... Supported us very well and they gave us best service when it comes to food, lodging, transfer ,entertainment etc ,they never said no for anything,

Fantastic team ! Very professional. I had 2 days of fishing with them we catch big GT, dogtooth tuna barracuda etc..
