Location was awesome.

The rooms are pathetic. Multiple cockroaches 🪳 and worms 🪱 were loitering around. Literally the washrooms aren’t provided with any shampoo or any conditioner. The mirror is blackened out at several points. The bed is hard like a rock-wood. The staffs are pathetic. Food is too bad to be honest. You can only swallow it with water and eat because you have a stomach. Nothing more nothing less. The staffs are a bit stupid. The receptionist is good and helpful. However she seems to be helpless at certain points because of the hotels’ policy. The checkin time is 12 in the afternoon and checkout time 8:30 in the morning. Not even 24 hours. However she tries her best to do things as much as possible. But that is not the same with the other staffs. Most of them are rude and unruly. Only the location at which it is situated can be justified. But there are other properties as well which can be considered and they are 10x better than this property for sure.

The resort is not worth staying. AC weren't working properly. Water supply problem was there. Very poor services. The kitchen wasn't maintained at all. There were rats in the kitchen. The staff was very rude. I don't suggest staying here. No good wifi availability. Don't visit.

Service was bad ,AC was broken and we were not given the AC remote there were no mirror in one of our rooms and most importantly we were not provided the room that we had booked online

The location is the only thing you can go for this hotel. Otherwise everything else is bad from room, food or service.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

Don't be fooled by the names. Island Vinnie's, New Gold India Beach Resort, etc. are all the same property which they keep renaming every time they get bad reviews. Nowhere on this property will you actually find a signboard stating which hotel this is. It's all very vague and malicious.

The rooms are poorly maintained. The bathroom didn't have a working light or exhaust fan and the AC kept turning off so we were relocated to another room where the bathroom didn't have a door latch (apparently these people haven't heard of 'privacy') and the AC still kept turning off every 30-40 minutes due to faulty MCB setup, which is questionable at best and the owner has done nothing to fix this other than renaming the hostel and coming to the hotel once a day in his Mercedes. The room also has cobwebs and dust everywhere.

Moreover the breakfast is a mere formality. They'll provide you with two options, with quantity running low and the most watery tea you'll ever have. If you want a plain omlette, you'll be told an absurd price.

The only advantage of this hotel is that they have a beach facing property but that too is littered with trash.

The staff are polite and compliant but ultimately untrained. They are suffering at the hands of an incompetent owner and poor infrastructure.

The location was good. Staff behavior was very bad. They were arguing with guests. There were cockroaches, multiple insects and even rats inside the room. The rooms were looking beautiful from outside but once u go inside there was smell and proper ventilation was not there, ac wasn't working and the geyser was malfunctioning too. I will not recommend this place at all.

The rooms are not good, multiple cockroaches,lizards inside the room, AC is not working staff is not good, hot water problems rooms are not hygiene, food is not worth.

I personally would not recommend anybody to stay here , reason are-
Wifi doesnt work
Not worth the price
Staffs are lazy
Not at all hygienic , bathroom and drainage system sucks , smells very bad , water flow is very slow
Not much option in breakfast buffet and also the plates and cups are bot washed properly, restaurant floors and tables are not even cleaned , unhygienic environment to serve food .
Beca of all these issues i had to change my room thrice .
You just get charged a good amount of money but dont get any service or amenities.
Washrooms doesn’t have any kind of aminites.
The only good thing about this property is the view , as it is on the beach. But there are other properties on the beach with better sevice.
They will give you unsealed water bottles , no mineral water is provided.
Worst experience.

If you want to ruin your Swaraj dweep (Havelock)journey please go to this resort. Please do not come here via travel agent because travel agent is involved in the buisness because nobody comes here after reading reviews(most people come here via travel agent)The issues here are :
1. Staff has a lot of attitude.
2.Our hotel phone was not working and nobody cared even after going to the reception.
3.The private beach has dogs roaming around (they don't bite or attack )
4.food and bathtub was unhygienic
5.they don't have proper cups or plates
6. They don't have enough staff
7.problem of hot water
8.plastic is thrown everywhere
9.dirty look at the entrance
10.no person at the reception.
Most people come here via travel agents please ask your travel agent that are you sending us to gold India beach resort if said yes don't trust in that travel agent. Also.don't be fooled by the private beach and bathtub there are other resorts near this one with private beach,would recommend local Dharamshala over this so called ''resort''.

I regret to share that my stay at the hotel new gold india beach resort was disappointing. The service fell short of expectations, and the room was not adequately cleaned, which impacted the overall experience negatively.

No towel, no telephone working to call reception, restaurant not clean, TV remote has no batteries, so don't choose this place. Front desk manager also very rude guy
