Valley View Beacon Resort, Mahabaleshwar

We visited this place in the last week of March '24. This place is very close to the market but it's difficult to spot due slum like area surrounding it. But once you are in it is one of the finer place to stay. The food here too good. Me and my husband loved the breakfast spread and lunch. I am a foodie and there wasn't a single dish which disappointed me. Every food item in the spread was yummy. We had good time at temperature controlled swimming pool. The rooms with valley view costed 8-9k per day. We were not aware of that and we had booked delux room which had no view. Please make sure you confirm from hotel which room you are being provided. We were under the impression that our room will have a view but it didn't and that was the only thing that disappointed us. You can enjoy the view of you go to their lawn area.

We had a very pleasant stay at the property. The property is well maintained and the staff is very friendly.
The rooms are neat and clean with all the facilities upto date.
The food is good but is little bit pricey.
Overall a very good stay.

Had a very pleasant stay with my family. All staff members are very friendly and accommodating. Surrounding is bit disappointing. Special mention to Deepak bhai and his dining staff who has gone out of the way to make us specially out 2yr kid feel comfortable.

It was an awesome stay with an amazing valley View. Wonderful Ambience and service were excellent. They have different rooms with different views for stay. I stayed in Executive one with valley view. Food was also good. There is a pool and spa too. Also games room to play. A wonderful garden area to walk and do some activities . Loved it.

Location - The hotel is located at a barely 5mins walk from the market making it ideal. As others have said, the road passes through slums but it is absolutely safe and nothing to worry about. The roads are wide and the cars can easily be driven through. Despite being 5mins from the market, this hotel offers stunning views of the valley. The valley views are some of the best you'll find in Mahabaleshwar and the sunrise/sunsets from the room are magical!
Rooms - The rooms are very spacious and airy. The Executive rooms come with a balcony overlooking the valley whereas Premium rooms offer a partial (yet stunning) valley view. Choose these if you want the valley view. The rooms have all amenities and are comfortable for a couple/group of 3. The bedding is comfortable, there is hot water 24x7, rooms and linen are fresh. Toiletries are provided. Room service is very prompt. There is WiFi all over the property and the network is good in rooms too. As it was a long stay, I was working throughout and did not face any issues.
Restaurant - Sahyadri Spices is the restaurant which offers fixed meals, buffets, as well as a la carte menu. All the dishes are lip-smacking and delicious. They have a wide variety and despite the long stay (7 days), we did not get bored of the meals. We tried a wide variety on their menu and weren't disappointed by anything. Lip-smacking food!
Staff members - Words do not do justice to the impeccable service provided by the staff members. Be it Deepak sir and his team at the restaurant; Prakash, Akshay, and Kamal from Housekeeping; or the reception staff - each and every member lives up to the word hospitality. They are always present with a smile and requests fulfilled within minutes. The staff members are extremely polite and warm.
This is hands down one of the best properties in Mahabaleshwar in terms of the amenities, service, and the price point. Amazing for families, couples, professional groups, hosting events, etc.

The location is right in the middle of the new mahabaleshwar market. The road to reach the hotel is pretty narrow and if you are planning to go around peak season you may get stuck.

But once you reach the hotel, all your worries are taken care of. The staff is very very courteous and helpful.

The rooms were nice but the bathroom was a little too cramped I felt. Cleanliness is the highest order. The best of which you will experience during food services.

The chef and waiters too are very polite and their food is very tasty and appetising.

You can literally walk to the market nearby.

Amazing stay at the resort. The staff is extremely hospitable. We visited the place to celebrate my father’s birthday and the restaurant staff celebrated along with us, highly appreciate the service. Highly recommended for family getaway.

One of the best in Mahabaleshwar till date. Close proximity to the market yet secluded from the commotion. Great place for kids, with a good lawn to play, indoor swimming pool (can enjoy in rains as well), spacious, well decorated and luxurious lobby. Friendly and courteous staff. Pure vegetarian food, great for Jain food as well.

I definitely find myself visiting this place again for a leisure trip.

This is the best resort in mahableshwar specially for kids there are indoor games out door games nearest main market temperature control swimming pool and the most thing there staff are very friendly

Best Hotel to stay with family... Good Staff, Good food, Good Stay.. My kids enjoyed alot.

It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel. Infrastructure is excellent, cleanliness and hygiene too. Feels like on vacation. Awesome food and the staff is extremely helpful. It was really awesome to stay with family and friends. Good lawns , lobby, kids games, swimming pool, spa, backyard, nice rooms many activities you can do with your beloved ones.
Over all good stay and value for money.

Extremely pleasant stay at this hotel. All the staff are super friendly. The food was amazing and has many varieties. The backyard is lush green and offers great view of the valley. Its at walking distance to the market. Kids enjoyed playing at the game room. They also have indoor heated swimming pool!

Very beautiful place to stay for a short getaway... beautiful location, though the road towards the resort is a bit narrow and congested. All the staff are amazing and exceptional. From front desk staff to housekeeping, everyone was very professional and outstanding. I was sick one night, and the staff went above and beyond to get me medicines and Chef cooked rice porridge for me .Mentionable staff are the restaurants that are very attentive , polite, and courteous. Shambhaji, Ashok, and Jagganath were outstanding staff members in their work. Would definitely stay again.

Recently stayed for 2 days. It was good experience. We enjoyed hotel amenities like swimming pool, garden, in door games etc. Hotel have good veg restaurant. They have good spread in buffet for dinner, breakfast etc. Hotel staff is professional. They respect genuine request of guest.
Only disappointing point for this hotel is location.

Great Place to Stay With You Family. House Keeping is Good. Rooms are also spacious it has option for couple room and family room.They have In House Restaurant. You can choose to stay with all meals inclusive package also. Food is Great and Service at Restaurant is Awesome. It has Swimming pool with hot sensor which keeps the water in normal temperature even in cold weather. Has Club house games like Chess,Table Tennis, Chess, Ludo. Karaoke room is also there. Staff people are very well trained and problem solver at request. Overall great Place.
