Shri Sharvani Devi Temple

Last week I visited to this place....There was Dip Pujan with lots of ladies..they all ladies taking fast for whole day , waring 9vari sari. Very ❤ Warming Situation. After that at night Devi Palkhi will out for pradkshina with all ladies.

Very nice place in Hindu religion . And so many temples here. Which was clean and outside nature was so good.

Very peaceful place ...also you will get very nice and simple meal at the canteen...temple is not closed but services may not be available 12:30-2:30

Jai Sharvani Devi. Our (Naik- Harolikar) kuldaivat. All Hindu temples were relocated in olden times on outskirts of Goa due to frequent incursions of foreigners like Portuguese, french, Dutch, British etc. Sharvani - Vetal temple is not as famous as Shantadurga which has become much more commercial due to incoming cash flow. However the style of construction of these temples is peculier and similar to Portuguese architecture. This Sharvani temple has lesser visitors and gets lesser donations than Shantadurga. But During festivals and yatras it is overflowing with regular devotees. However stay facilities are very basic with food prepared inside temple only on demand. Vetal murti is made from black stone and Sharvani murti from white marble stone. Advalpal is near to Asnoda. Where you get Pooja material, coconut, prasad and garlands/flowers. You have to carry from there. Walking in nature from there can give you good experience of walking through kaju plantations. There is good road connectivity if you go by car. Mobile networks won't work except BSNL. Please donate freely at temple office if you want to see some commercial developement and suvidha for Yatris.

It's our family deity. So a visit at least once a year is warranted. Visited this time with family.
It a quaint temple complex remotely located and with no civic amenities about 3 km from assnora North Goa.
It may not be a must visit place for everyone, but when faith and duty calls, everything else is secondary.

Very calm and peaceful place. The priest is punctual.
Bathrooms and loos available for changing and showering.

It's my mother's side kuldaiwat. Even we have visited it twice. It's a good place.

My mother's name before marriage was Ms Neela salgaonkar...

Peaceful place. You will not get any network apart from BSNL and JIO.
You will get Rooms for free staying and food you need to pay.

Shenai- Prabhu- Nayakachi Kuldaivat...Though we dont stay in Goa and we are migrated to different places in India and world; our hearts are always filled with love and joy of Devi's Blessings...May my hands remain at the feet of Devi and Devi bless all of us.

Powerfull devine place to visit. Soothing. Situated in woods surrounding is serene green with a water body and variety of bird species..
Tmple is an unique experience which can not be placed in words.

It's beautifully carved in marble stone.. Food is also available on demand
