Lesser known place among the tourist. Its a small fort, along with a mini chappel besides it..surrouded by lush green panoromic view of the river.
One must visit this place during sunset, the sunset view is so soothing to eyes. This place is so calm and relaxing and refreshing, so much of peace.
This place is a hidden gem, away from the city hustle, a place worth visiting.
Monsoons enhanced the beauty of this place.
The place is well maintained and clean, there is also a security guard at the site.

The road to this place is very narrow and you can only reach there by 2-wheeler.
If you go by 4-wheeler, you’ll need to park your vehicle in the village area down, and then walk for around 5-10mins to reach the top.

If you bike then you can ride it up, if you have car you will have to park it somewhere down and Trek a little. The place is worth visiting, had no crowd.

It's the best place to experience the sunset. The road going to this fort is very steep. Since it's not well maintained cars cannot go till the fort. Bikes can be taken.
The fort gate closes around 5:30, but you can still visit the area.

Since it's known by many now, people going there with alcohol bottles and other things,have started littering the place.

Best place for photography and videography.

A small fort on top of the hill, not too far from Marcel Town. Lesser known among the tourists, a clean & green place to get some fresh air & also a panoramic view of the river (mostly Mondovi) & the surrounding scenes. No much information as to why was this fort used & who built it. Mostly locals come & enjoy the sunsets here.

A very well hidden place out of the hustle and bustle of city. That's what makes this place beautiful. I came here for the view and stayed for the peace.
I ended up spending hours here simply enjoying the view and calm that this place as to offer. It rained while we were there and it enhanced the beauty of this place.

This fort is on a an island so be prepared to catch a ferry . The ferry is free for people and 2 wheelers and for car they charge Rs.10
The ferry runs every 15 minutes

A historic fort built somewhere during 1668 located on on St Estevem island now connected by bridge to the mainland ..there is also a built up shrine there dedicated to Sacred heart of Jesus. It has a rich history and location, being located high on a hillock it gives amazing views of the surroundings greens and in contrast the rich red mined soil from Goa, the road to reach here is marked by a sign post as a protected site, a must visit place for nature lovers and people who are interested in history of Goa.

It was hard to find this fort and the roads are not good for cars. Small hike to reach the fort and it offers the best view. We went on a week day, and it is one of the hidden gems so we had the fort to ourselves. Awesome place to take pics. Worth the drive !

Access to the fort is closed, but the small chapel besides the fort is open and there is a wonderful sit out area to enjoy the view

What a hidden Gem this is. Located on a small quaint island, this place is just serene. Panoramic views of the surrounding including the river, this place is a must visit during monsoons. May be the smallest fort but worth the visit. The small Chappel also is beautiful close by and offers great views.

Great view from top and best pictures can be taken.
I'll recommend to go at evening or early in morning.
Avoid going there at afternoon unless you want to get cooked.

This is an old historic fort .Next there is Nice place to enjoy the evening watching beautiful sunset 🥰. There are benches and sofa to sit . The road going towards the fort is bit offroading kind, so can park the bike or car down and walk for 2 minutes and reach the beautiful destination.
