Awesome place to visit. Well maintained, cleaned, religious, believed to be A Sacred Sarovar. People here are too helpful. Sannihit Sarovar feels to be a good place for peace and meditation as well as work well for calming an angry or frustrated person.

Sannihit Sarovar is a sacred water reservoir in Thanesar area of Kurukshetra city. It is believed to be the meeting point of seven tributaries of sacred River Saraswati and the abode of Lord Vishnu. According to popular belief, bathing in the waters of the tank on the day of Amavasya or on the day of an eclipse is believed to bestow blessings equivalent to performing the Ashvamedh Yajna. Prayers and Pind Daan is performed here. Sarovar premise also houses some small shrines. Place is neat and clean and well managed. Ambience is holy and serene. It is one of the most popular pilgrims’ destinations in Kurukshetra.
