Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the Khandala Ghat View Point, and the experience was truly enchanting. The breathtaking scenery of the ghat, coupled with the cool, crisp air, provided a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle.

During my visit, I opted for a simple yet delightful snack – hot Maggie and corn. The Maggie was comforting, and the corn added a perfect crunch to the experience. It was an ideal choice to enjoy amidst the stunning natural beauty surrounding the viewpoint.

The combination of delicious snacks and the panoramic view made the visit memorable. Khandala Ghat View Point is a must-visit for those seeking a serene escape with a touch of local flavor. The hot Maggie and corn complemented the overall experience, making it a delightful stop on my journey.

This is the most beautiful & peaceful place for sunset and to gaze city lights in night. You just have to make sure to park your vehicle at the right place as this place is in that ghat, there are risky turns and heavy vehicle flow. I recommend to visit this place 30’ mins before sunset so you can reserve your place. There are many maggie stalls where you can enjoy with beautiful sunset. And do wait till night. The night view is just magical over here.

The best time to visit this place is from June to September if you really want to see it at its peak. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the majestic view in the early morning of February.

This is a place with a very beautiful view of nature. During monsoon you will have the best view of the waterfall. Scenic view of the Khandala valley. You can enjoy this while eating roasted corn and Kanda bhaji. This one the best stop to view the beauty of Lonavala.

A fabulous place to be in the rainy and mid rainy-winter season to witness how beautiful nature is and can be. Weekends are purely crowded with heaps of people around. Try weekdays. Limited choice of food and cost is high. But overall a lovely place to visit.

The panoramic view of the Deccan Lava track is a mind-blowing sight . From the Kandala Ghat view point we can also see the Khuna waterfalls. Kandala Ghat Tunnel and the movement of vehicles along the Mumbai -Pune highway is an amazing view in Lonavala. If you are visiting a thick foggy day you cannot see the view of valley and waterfalls, but the foggy conditions will change anytime, so if you are visiting this point during foggy atmosphere it is better for you to wait some time to get clear sky to get the clear view of Lonavala Valley.
