Vast and very beautiful infrastructure. One of the best Institute of architecture.

One of the best places to study architecture in India. The campus is lush green, safe for all and is well planned. Has all the essential facilities needed by students. There are new buildings that are coming up which will add to the activities that can be done by students. The approach road from the highway to the campus is not well lit so moving in and out of campus late at night should be avoided.

Nice Institute with Much More Facilities. All the libraries and studios are open till 11 pm in the night for extra work one can go there. Sports Facilities are there.

Is a great clg if you want to study Architecture and Planning, both bachelor and master courses are available. Must consider it for the studies

Great campus, nice hostels

One of the best institutes in the country to study Architecture and Planning. One can witness exotic sunrise and sunsets here. Isolated from the city which really makes this campus peaceful. You can find extremely energetic crowd here who has come here from all parts of India.

Best Planning and Architecture institute in India with largest campus and best faculty.

Being one of the only 3 SPA it has enormous reputation& it is india's largest architectural college, and simply with no doubts that it has the best campus in india! Being a pure government college which charges only 95k for a year, it provides you with all the modern amenities which other private colleges boasts of providing. Boys hostels have a lift which i guess very few colleges have, and its simply the best hostel in india ( even better than manipal) ! If a guys gets admission here his lif is set! :D

The history of the SPA system dates back to 1946 when Sir Jogendra Singh of the Viceroy's Executive Council set up a committee whose task was to consider the creation of Higher Technical Institutions for post-war industrial development in India. The 22-member committee, headed by Nalini Ranjan Sarkar, recommended the establishment of these institutions in various parts of India,along the lines of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and consulting from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign with affiliated secondary institutions.
The first School of Planning and Architecture was founded in 1941 as a Department of Architecture of Delhi College of Engineering now the Delhi Technological University. It was later affiliated to the University of Delhi and integrated with the School of Town and Country Planning which was established in 1955 by the Government of India to provide facilities for rural, urban and regional planning. On integration, the School was renamed as School of Planning and Architecture in 1959. Recognizing its national and international eminence, the Government of India conferred the status of the ‘Deemed University’ on the School in 1979. Good campus, need more maintenance on Civil part

Nice college good food and teaching but rools us very toff
