St. Francis Xavier Church

This is a very spiritual place and extremely warm people in the parish. Ambience is peaceful. The atmosphere is very calming and you feel very relaxed praying. Very divine.

A beautiful church located in New Panvel. It is a beautifully done church and it sits at a higher level from the ground.

An house of prayer that came to be after crossing many a hurdle and prayers of many a faithful and their sacrifices that brought about this beautiful sanctuary after years of worship in an large hall where the faithful Sunday after Sunday and day after day participated in celebrating the Holy Eucharist

Just after the Orion Mall when coming from Mumbai the first left turn with MacDonald at the corner and Samrat. Hotel on the right going ahead taking the left then right to an unpainted three storied structure and on opening the gate one faces a huge massive marble stairway and maghony wooden door

Similarly when coming from Pune or Goa or Alibaug or Pen taking the flyover and coming down before Orion Mall to the said MacDonald and Samrat Hotel lane one can reach the church building

Thus using an inner lane and passing the ST Bus Stand from it's backside one can reach the church building if one comes from Panvel Railway Station

On weekdays the services are at 7.00 pm and on Sunday's it's at 7.45 am and 9.00 am. Office of the Priest in Charge is open on weekdays from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm and from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm

There are nine Small Christian Communities each having 30 families and are spread far and wide in both Panvel and New Panvel and before Rasayani and Pen and Kalamboli.

Panvel is now having it's own Municipal Corporation and construction projects are under Naina

It is a very beautiful and spacious Church, well connected via road/rail as it is nearby to Panvel railway station and Panvel bus depot. The members of this Parish run many activities throughout the year. This Church helps to unite people from nearby areas like Karanjade, New Panvel, Sukhapur, Khandeshwar, Kamothe, etc. If you are in the vicinity of Panvel, you must visit this divine place.
