Hotel Aashiya Haveli

We stayed for 2N/3D at Ashya Haveli in mid of March 2024. We requested to provide a lake facing room and the management gave us a beautiful lake facing room in the 2nd floor. View from the Hotel terrace was breathtaking especially at the sunset - see snaps attached. Besides the view, best part of the hotel is its prime location at Lalghat - just infront of lake pichola and within 1-2 minutes of walking distance from all major attractions - The City Palace, Jagdish temple, Gangur Ghat, Bagore Ki Haveli and the magnificent lake pichola itself. You will get all of eateries and shops within 5 minutes of walking distance from this hotel. We also felt the hotel was a pure value for money for the services, hotel location and view from the room and the trrace itself.

This haveli is a private family property with some rooms let out for visitors.The Hosts are very generous and welcoming in nature and greetingly available to guide you about the city.
It's a well organised and maintained property. The terrace is huge and can accommodate parties for small groups of people. It has dining table and chairs for relaxation and enjoying the lake view. They have a small pantry section on the terrace for preparing breakfast and food.
Rooms are very spacious with a passage and balcony having lake view. Bathrooms are also quite larger with all required facilities.

On weekends and in peak season prices are almost doubled up so it's good to book in advance if you want to stay little longer.

Overall it's a recommendable haveli for stay if you want to enjoy the undisturbed panoramic far sighted lake view of the pichola lake.

This is a good place to stay, you get a direct view of lake pichola. The location is in the main market, few attraction points are at walking distance like city palace, bagour ki haveli, lake pichola, jagdeesh temple. Rooms are good, well maintained, they also offer breakfast in the morning. You get to see a nice sunset from the hotel rooftop

Location is a perfect gateway as this hotel located in the Centre and anyone can visit any tourist place on a walking distance.

It's been an amazing experience staying here under the hospitality of the host. Specifically, to mention Ms Bhavna ,the owner of this Haveli. She is very courteous and catered to every little requirement of ours. I highly recommend this place to stay on the banks of lake Pichola. My room no is 31, with a beautiful lake view. The care taker Chandraprakash was also very helpful. The Rooms are a good size with a bay window to sit and enjoy the lake view. The property is well maintained and very neat. They have a good reputation in the market also... As they come to be very polite and a humble hosts. God bless them with lot of prosperity in coming times too.

Staying at Ashiya Haweli was the best decision. I took during my trip to Udaipur. If you are visiting Udaipur, Ashiya Haweli must be in your top list. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine.

Rooms are huge, the eating space on the terrace offers great views of sunset across Lake Pichola, food is excellent. The location is terrific, literally a stone's throw from the City palace, Jagdish temple and Bagore ki haveli. Best place to stay in Udaipur.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the old town overlooking the lake palace. Also has a awesome roof terrace to watch sunset from. Satish is a great host and can help you with any questions you may have!

If you find availability in this property then close your eyes and book the room. Their Deluxe room having beautiful view of lake pichola from window. Every category of rooms are well maintained and clean. But not every room having lake view.

The staffs are great and owner takes care of every guest personally. The breakfast serves based on your order from the given choice. The poha taste was superb.

All important stores and visiting sites are accessible just in few mint walk. You can easily find the bike rents near to property.

Note: no lift facilities so please take your call accordingly.

It is a family business over 200 years and you actually can feel it - the daughter was so helpful in any concerns and even helped me to plan my 3 days in Udaipur. They have rooms with a direct view towards the lake, clean, and the design of the whole hotel is so authentic. Perfect location in the are of restaurants and sightseeing place. There is a restaurant direct opposite view a lake view and great dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Very good price/performance ratio. So a warm recommendation :)

The best place to stay in udaipur and the owner of property are very good by nature and heart and there breakfast is just awesome , view from the terrace is just wonderful 💯🔥

Its an amazing hotel!! I am really fascinated by the view of pichola lake from this hotel terrace. The rooms are also big and it has natural cooling which is soothing in summers. At night the whole pichola lake and the hotels around it looks amazing. There is chill vibe and really relaxing. The lady that handles whole management of this place is also amazing and really helpful. If you decide to stay here then its a total YES! Its a must visit hotel.

Beautiful neat clean home stay kind of Hotel . Excellently managed by House owner themselves. Location very good so that one can walk to City Palace , Jagdish temple, Bagore ki haveli, Ganagaur ghat etc.

Excellent property which is located right next to City palace and on the banks of lake pichola. All heritage sites are within walking distance. Rooms are also clean, well maintained and our host Bhavna Ma’am was also very helpful during our stay. Will definitely recommend Aashiya Haveli for future travellers.

Room was spacious and hygienic. There is no TV in the room. Nor any of the rooms will give you view of the Pichola lake however that doesn’t dampen your stay rather watching the magnificent view of Pichola lake from the rooftop is a delight to eyes. The lake is just few tens of meters away from the property entrance. The arrangement of the rooms is different too and it gives you a great feel of staying in a haveli than that of typical hotel room. Breakfast, served on the rooftop sitting area, though you may not get many options, however the poha or paratha that gets served is of great taste. We liked it very much.
City palace is just few hundred meters away and you can go by walk, manevouring yourself through narrow lanes which is a great experience in itself.
Bagore ki haveli (that houses museum and also the place for the one hour dance and music cultural show “Dharohar”) , the place I liked most, is a just a two minute walk from Aashika haveli.
The haweli staff found to be “all rounders” managing the housekeeping as well as kitchen (during breakfast and also for servicing tea / coffee during the day). The owner family itself resides on the ground floor. I found them very humble and helpful.
Overall a great experience!!
