After a lot of search we tumbled upon this place and luckily it turned out to be the best Rajasthani Thali. Best thing it was an experience than just food. Lovely dance, the way they explain how to eat and all. Loved it thoroughly. Must visit hidden gem.

This place matches with everything what the name suggested. Authentic Rajasthan's food with traditional folk song and dance. The service provided is better than any resturant I have been in Udaipur, they are humble and helpful in every possible way. The food was delicious and perfect in every possible sense.

The food is amazing, went there with my wife on our Udaipur trip. A must go place.
However, the ambience could be a bit better, apart from that, the staff and the food is just fab.
They also organise a traditional dance performance, loved it.

If you simply wish to experience a Rajasthani thali, go here. At 8:30pm on a Wed, no one else was there, the owner looks lazy and furniture grand but faded, but the staff, musicians and dancers were wonderful!!! Just order the royal thali and everything is served immediately. The main waiter instructed us how to eat it and all items were delicious. The entertainment was enthusiastic and even asked if we had any requests.

An authentic Rajasthani thali, consisted of food from all places of Rajasthan. Rakesh served and explained about all dishes and how to eat them with what options. The food, service and especially the warmth of people won our hearts. Must visit if you are in Udaipur.

Oh, what do I say about this place! What you get here is not just good food, you get here an experience!! They only serve unlimited thalis, and no a-la-carte. But trust me, you do not want to miss this. They have a wide variety of food items in the unlimited menu and all of them are super delicious and seem super authentic. They start you off with some welcome drink- rose water- of which I just couldn’t get enough!! They have varieties from all around the state and not just the local delicacies. What makes it better is that their trained staff will suggest you how to eat what’s being served in your plate- they will suggest you the combinations to try so that you could make the best of your experience. They also give you a few details about how which dish is prepared- that’s some interesting trivia about the food you eat! The seating arrangement, I feel could have been better. The sofas were slightly on the harder side and were a little far from the table which also were a little low.

if you want to have authentic Rajasthani food then this is place you cant miss out on. Delicious Rajasthani thali served with proper gesture and interest.We even got to witness Live Rajasthani Folk Music.
The Kadi which was cooked for 12 hours or their Baati or their Daal or their Gatte ki sabzi everything was absolutely lip smacking and scrumptious. Father and son duo were really hospitable who own and manage the place. They made extra efforts to come to my table and explain me each and every dish and also how to eat them. Enjoyed eating with hands.
After my buffet thali, tried their Chulle ki Rabdi in the desserts. Washrooms were neat and clean. Service was amazing.
Easily accessible for person on wheelchair. Overall great experience. Must try when in Udaipur.

This is possibly the best place to have Rajasthani food. The ambience is really nice and grand with big sofas and tables. They have thali system, so everybody needs to have their own thali, no sharing.

Food was really nice and it is an unlimited deal. I really didn't mind the price they charged, it was worth it.

We celebrated our marriage anniversary with these amazing flavours of traditional Rajasthani cuisine “DAL BAATI” and many unique dishes from their Royal Thali.. a worth spending time with family with great ambiance and mouth watering food.

To start with parking space Is there outside but not much ..the ambiance is very good and going with the traditional rajasthani theme of restaurant sitting area is having good ambiance with good vibes food is very good staff is well trained and courteous

About staff I must say they are very professional and the quantity of food about serving there is no restrictions

When in Udaipur, a restaurant must be visited is Traditional Khana Restaurant. Highly competent, cordial, and practical service. Food is so amazing that I am at a loss for words. Ambience & taste gets a 5+. They made sure to help us choose the food combinations so that we may try everything that was offered to us. The staff even went so far as to explain what it is and how it is made. Last but not least, as soon as they noticed that plates were getting empty, they began to serve food while grinning and making welcoming gestures.

We have visited this place for dinner with family in mid of January. Weather was around 13’c.
Ambiance is traditional rajasthani culture. Outdoor sitting and indoor both options available. Cultural folk dance and singing is also entertaining while eating.
Food is pure traditional rajasthani. So if you visit Udaipur than it must be in your bucket list. Taste of food is superb. Variety of traditional food in one plate is outstanding.
Staff is also friendly and welcome with uniq rose sharbat. They also guide us to eat different variety of food in sequence to get best experience of food.
Like mung dal pakoda with green and red chutney. Than bati with chana dal, gatte ki sabji, chhke ki sabji, udad dal & garlic chutney combination with desi ghee. Puri with ker sangre ki sabji is also one of best. Pakoda rice with kadhi was too good. In desert mung dal ka Halwa make your tummy full. And last smoky Butter milk.
Food is Hygine and of very Good Quality.

Very very very tasty traditional rajasthani food. The mathoerd of serving food is very amazing. You can feel rajasthan in every bite. If you like rajasthani food and you are in udaipur you must visit Traditional khana Restaurant. You loved it. Thanks for amazing experience.

Though a little expensive but it is worthy of every penny. The staff is cordial and so is the owner. The food is impeccable quality and i was blown away by their atta ki sabji! They also have a shop where I recommend you get the rose sherbet and hing.
