Excellent place in morning time or night too. The route till the ghat is little narrow. Walking distance from the City Palace. Morning time you can have excellent pictures clicked with beautiful background of Resturants near the lake. At night everything will be lighted up and it will be more peaceful at that time if not going on weekends.

It is clean and a pilgrimage place with a view of the Pichola lake. This place during evening hours is ethereal and has such a vibe that can't be described in words. A lively area of Udaipur on the banks of old city.

This place is a wonderful place in Udaipur you feel the real old vibes of Udaipur. There are many restaurants, hotels, temples, and local street food shops near this place and it has a wonderful morning view and evening view. There is no fee to enter the ghat and it offers good opportunities for photographers to shoot and street dancers to perform their dances to much good there. Sitting on the huge granite steps leading to the river, one can enjoy a romantic interlude with nature.

We spent an evening there. You can visit any time , open 24/7. No entry fee. Just sit next to the water and all view of the amazing lake , sunset , mountain, and other side holy temples too . It's just 3 minutes walk from Jagdish temple and 3 minutes walking distance from chandpole parking. Only 2 wheeler access.

A wonderful place to feel the old Udaipur vibe. In terms of visuals it is better to visit during sunset but sunrise time has its own charm also. There is no fee to enter the ghat and it offers good opportunity to photographers. Obviously this place is always crowded, even early morning I encountered a number of pre-wedding photography groups. Even then it is possible to find certain spots to enjoy this timeless place and even more surprisingly to take a few photos without too many people in it.

This is a beautiful place to spend your evening in Udaipur. Place is full of pigeons. You will find a lot of pre-wedding shoot happening all the time. Bagore haveli is adjacent to it. Nice view of lake pichola.

Ghat has its own vibes I would say, you visit a y time in day and feel the same. I visited early in the morning,once in the afternoon and from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM at night. Best place to see sunset also.

A peaceful place, stroll around during sunset and night for a majestic view of Udaipur landscape, lake pichola, The Taj Hotel…. We luckily met a group of singers who performed their heart out and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly.

It's very beautiful place to visit, the view from here of Lake Pichola is beautiful.
Here, you can also feeds pigeons and also one thing I will recommend is please don't harm and distrub pigeons while they are eating also don't try to fly them otherwise the Gangaur Ghat gaud will shout on you.

The view from here is very nice especially when it starts to get darker. The city will be lit with yellow lights all over. This is a good place to sit and enjoy the lake view, you can also see the Taj hotel at a distance from here and you can sit on the steps and watch the scenic beauty of the city.

Gangour ghat is one of the view points of Pichola lake. This place is always crowded, best to catch sunrise or sunset here. Peaceful serene ✨ if you're lucky enough to catch this place with no one. It's so relaxing to watch the sunset here except the foul smell from the water. It's right next to Bagore ki haveli. Definitely a must visit place
