It is kind of mess with tasty unlimited food options available. The place is on 1st floor so some time people may missed that. You have to look for their board at the entrance. While we were in doubt of entering a satisfied lady coming out assured us to go in. The ambiance one may not like the most but the food and service is good. We went there for some food for my 5 year old child, by looking at options decided to go for thali which will be shared by 3 of us as me n wife were not that much hungry. As we explained them our problem, they agreed. And we had a good time. My kid also like homely food and eat every food. Like it most.

Best Thali I had in India and it was also the cheapest one! For 240rp you get unlimited refills of whatever you want and the taste is unmatched. Such a hidden gem this place!

This is not a flamboyant fancy place. But one thing is promised - good home like light food, served with a big heart at reasonable price. After having too much of rich and heavy food throughout your trip, you crave for plain and simple food, then visit this place and you will not be disappointed. I visited them 8 years ago during my last trip and made sure to visit again this time. There was absolutely no change in the quality of food and the love for serving by the owner.

Authentic rajastani thali, very delicious homely food. Service is fast and behaviour of staffs also good.

Value for money experience. Food quality, quantity and taste, as well as the service were all great. Got the thali, 6 curries with unlimited rice and roti. Don't judge by the entrance.

Have been a frequent customer for past 7 years, they have one of the best homely food served in udaipur. Really good food with acceptable prices. The dishes changes on daily basis but everyday the food is tasty. A must for those living without any kitchen facilities and have to eat daily outside, it won't affect your health.

We have choosen 160 inr thali and it was really very good, all vegetables and chapattis were really very nice cooked.

Highly recommended if going with family the food is completely homely.

Very good and tasty unlimited Thalis for 180 or 240. Tell them which one you want in the beginning or they assume you want the more expensive one. They come again and again to refill your Thali which is awesome! They are very friendly and it’s a quiet place upstairs.

We visited Kanak dining hall for dinner. The thali was excellent with good variety, food was delicious. Staff and owner both are humble . Also food cost is very reasonable, good unlimited thali with nice sweet. They have thali and also other variety in vegetarian food. I enjoyed eating here and good atmosphere. 100 percent recommended place at Udaipur .

Udaipur is an overwhelming city, crowded with glamorous palaces and lakes, and thronged markets. This little place on hathipole market was our respite from the bustle. The food was very affordable, and everything they put on our plate was comforting and light, without being bland. The servers and staff made us feel like we were guests in their home, insisting we take second helpings of everything and making recommendations. You can order al-la-carte, but I’d strongly recommend the lunch/dinner thalis.

Unlimited Thali @ ₹180. Good food with quality.
In my thali, they served: Tawa roti, bati, rice, dal, rajma, aaloo, bhindi, salad, chatni, mirchi, achar, chhachh, papad, gulab jamun.

Restaurant is on first floor. Only stairs, no lift.
4 wheeler parking is on the opposite side of the restaurant which is underground parking as per the parking manager at the ground floor.
2 wheeler parking is easier to find near the restaurant.

Super thali. Generous with re fills and top ups. Half the price of Thalis from a touristic restaurant.

Just specify which price Thai (from the 3 prices) you want to choose before ordering as they will assume the most expensive and try to charge you for it.
