Mahakaleshwar Temple

Beautiful temple located on the shore of Fatehsagar lake.
Just love going to this temple. Feels even better when I reach here by cycling around 12kms. It's so peaceful, it's along the lake fatehsagar. Architecture is beautiful and detailed. There is Hanuman temple in the premises as well.

Every Tuesday in the evening Sundarkand path takes place in Hanuman temple followed by special Aarti. You can come for that, it's very energetic and refreshing.

Temple on the banks of beautiful Lake Fatehsagar, 900 years old Mahakaleshwar temple has the lofty Aravalis in the background. It is believed that Guru Gorakhnath, a popular saint and a distinguished devotee of Lord Shiva had also worshipped here. The temple stretches in an area of around 3.5 acres. The temple is visited by many devotees of Lord Shiva every day, specially on Monday. Rudrabhishesk Aarti is the highlight here.

One of the oldest and beautiful Mahadev ji temple within Udaipur City. Along side of fatehsagar, rani road. It’s best for the visit at any time of day, but especially in the morning. I love visiting and spending time here. 🕉

A very old swambhu temple of Lord Shiva where the Shiv Linga has emerged from the ground. The temple has been renovated to accommodate a larger crowd. The temple allows the devotees to offer Abhishek from outside that directly reaches the Shiv Linga. The place is adjacent and backs up to Lake Fateh Sagar that is named after Maharana Fateh Singh. The temple premises are very well maintained, clean and quiet creating a perfect environment for prayer, worship and meditation / dhyaan. The temple also has a gaushala. I strongly recommend visiting the temple. If you are local, find some time to help with maintaining the place via some volunteering activity. Jai Mahakaal! 🚩

Aura of temple make you feel relax. The art on stone is great and shows many stories. You can walk around or sit as much long as you want. Behind the temple there's a lake view. A beautiful garden is also there.

A sacred,beautiful place..located near fateh sagar,on rani road...the back area of the temple is just on the shore of Fateh sagar lake....that increases its purity and pleasentness...a marriage plot is also inside its premises...must visit here...jai mahakal 🙏🏼

It is a temple of hindu lord "Shiva". I like this temple very much. Here, the garden is very beautiful. I like the garden of this place also. I prefer you to visit this temple one time.I heard from people about this temple was that this temple is very nice and here, every door of this temple is made up of Silver yah Silver. When I heard this I was shocked. I would like to go back here. And I suggest you to visit one time here.

Awesome temple of Lord Mahakaleshwar. 1 of the 12 jyotirling situated in the heart of India. Basically in the ancient city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The temple is situated on the side of the holy river Shipra.
