Do go by the atmosphere or the ambience.. but just by the food and the incredible taste they offer. Had kulcha nihari with mutton korma as well as the chicken barra and tundey kebab.. just mouth watering and you cannot just stop eating once you've tasted suxh good food.. would definitely recommend to have food here if you visit Lucknow.. must and must have..5/5

One of the best mutton I ever had, the place holds true to its reputation. The nali nihari with kulcha was mouth watering and if you have to try only one dish in Lucknow, then it has to be this one

The Kulcha and Mutton nihari are a must have delicacy of Lucknow. The Old Raheem Hotel is in front of Tunday kebabi in Phool Waali Gali, Chowk.
The mutton nihari has a unique and subtle taste. It is not too spicy and has a balanced flavor.
My favourite is the kulcha which is soft and flaky and pairs well with the nihari.
This place and Lalla biryani are must visit places in Chowk. Visit this place after 1 pm. if you want to have mutton nihari.
Must visit place if visiting Lucknow.❤👍🏻

The greatest Nihari place. Don't miss if you ever go to Lucknow. Had it every day the 5 days I was there. Keep hygiene and other concerns away if you visit the store or best is to get it delivered if you are a cleanliness fanatic.

Well! It was our first Anniversary dinner...☺so it was really special to us. The ambiance is nice, the interior was well done, and the food was amazing. The nihari mutton was a killer and stole the show away, their Naans were unusually big...we jokingly called it "Pardas". All in all we had a nice family dinner and it indeed was value for money!!! 😊💖

I had Nahari, Korma with my whole family.
Mutton korma was the best.

If you are a foodie and love non-veg, you can't miss a breakfast here. Hot, greasy, thick, meaty, delicious nihari with crispy kulcha is a combination you will remember for a long time.

Couple of things though,

If you are using Uber or Ola please make sure you double check the location before entering. For us, the address registered in Uber was indicating a wrong place (strangely with a similar name). We walked to the place after getting down from our cab with the help of direction from the locals. There is a huge oven at the entrance.

The ambiance may not be ideal if you are expecting a trendy place or if you have a habit of going only to such places. In that case, please parcel you food and enjoy at your place.

Avoid summer season as restaurant is very crowded with no proper ventilations or cooling options, heat will kill your appetite and enjoyment of food, order mutton nahari instead nalli Nahari unless u can digest that Nalli Nahari) rich course, hygienic environment is not that much it has to,

To reach this place you’ll have to walk through the streets of old Lucknow. This place is known for kulcha nihari. Nihari we had was of mutton. It had thick heavy spiced gravy, but you won’t feel it loaded mouth burning chillies. The flavor is very subtle. We went there for breakfast. One would say that quantity of mutton was very less but so was the price. But kulcha, which is a crispy bread with a mild note of sweetness and salt is amazing. I really enjoyed dining at this place. Place is congested and sitting is in basement. For first time it can feel like an awkward place, if you are not a regular foodie, but trust me people are nice and you will feel comfortable next time.

My rating is completely based on food and flavors I got to experience. This is the best Nihari I have ever had. The mouth melting mutton and simple flavours are so so good.

In the old town. Quite congested. Just don't see the surroundings or how and where the utensils are cleaned and come from. Pray for no upset stomach and enjoy the amazing food!

Kulcha & Nahari the best combination I would say. Pasanda and Afghani kabab were extremely delicious. However I didn't like the Shirmal that much.

The place is always crowded, expect 45-60 mins wait time , but it’s worth trying it .
They also deliver , that’s the best if you are near by .
