They are famous for their sweet malai gillauri or malai paan. The layers of cream (malai) are rolled like paan and it’s filled with sweet filling inside. A must try when in Lucknow. It’s 2 centuries old and they ship worldwide.

Malai Gilori is good ms I always go for that. This time the quality was not the same but stil not bad.

If you have an option, try plain one as I find it better than Keshri one

The malai ki gilori is really overrated its not that great the real jam is the Rabdi of this place just too good, owner is also really nice, all in all its a good place to buy sweets

Best Malai Paan. You will find many places in Lucknow where you can get this signature sweet of Lucknow but Ram Asrey clearly beats them all. This place has got other sweet options which are nice. They have other shops in the city as well but the one in front of Bajpayee Kachori is easy to reach

ram asrey sweets is situated in hazratganj near leela cinema opposite to vajpai puri bhandar( another renowned food joint in Lucknow). ram asrey sweet shop started in 1805. all their sweets are very delicious specially malai or balai gilori . they also prepare festival special sweets one them is navratan gujia which is very delocious.
overall a good sweet shop quality is good and prices are reasonable.

PS: the original shop is in chowk area old lucknow . they serve delicious halwas.The three types are - Kali Gajar halwa, Zuazi halwa and Habshi halwa.

This is a very famous and old sweet shop famous for malai gilori. We bought idli dhokla and samosa. The jalebi from this shop is famous and very tasty 😋.

Ram Asrey Hazratganj... A perfect place to have perfect dahi bataashey... It is one of the oldest sweet shops of Lucknow and till date it maintains its reputation by continuing to make delicious sweets.. Rajbhog, Ghevar, motichoor ke laddu, gulab jamun all are so tasty...
It also delivers via swiggy and Zomato...
One drawback is that since it is one of the oldest sweet shops, there is no parking available...
