One of the beautiful & ancient temple of goddess shakti. Along with lord Shiva, the shivlingam in the shiva temple is believed to have a biggest lingam in lucknow with 108 small shivalingams on it. This temple is very popular not even among the locals but for the outsiders who come to visit Badi Kali Ji mandir in Navratris, most of the devotees visit Sankata devi after the Badi Kali Ji mandir. Such a miraculous place specially that big banyan tree...it's quite big ...I nice place to spent time for spiritual peace of soul and mind..one should visit this temple in Holy week of Navratri....It also. Has a huge idol of shiv ling...and a big trishul too...and the darbaar of Mata is quite beautifully decorated...
